Bled Rose Hotel
"We had the junior suite for 2 nights so hard to dislike anything about the highest room category in the resort. It was a beautiful, spacious room with separate sitting area and dining area, and huge bathroom (but shower not enclosed), walk-in closet, and balcony. Hooks would be useful. Mid-century decor, very soothing to the senses, unfussy, just lovely. Excellent breakfast with many interesting and wide variety of choices, both savoury and sweet. Gluten-free bread for the asking. Well-located, just 3 minutes up from the lake shore, and a 20 minute walk up the many steps to the castle. Expect to pay to enter the castle grounds as there is no view of the island unless you do. And the castle exhibits are excellent and well-worth the price of admission. Hotel - and especially the junior suite - recommended."
