"Two of my girlfriends and I stayed at this cozy cottage for a week and had a great time! It was pretty much exactly as advertised. Renters should be aware, however, that it is behind the owner's house, so not exactly ON the lake (though you can see the lake from the cottage, and it's a VERY short walk to the lake). The cottage had pretty much everything we needed, and we loved the hot and cold water dispenser! The kitchen was a little sparse for folks who plan to do a lot of cooking, though, as we did. If we return, we would consider bringing additional pots, pans, sharp knives, and seasonings (salt, pepper, etc.). The area around the cottage was very quiet, and the road that runs along the lake was nice for walking. The location of the house also provides easy access to both Saratoga and Lake George. Lex, the owner, was easy to work with and very welcoming—and was kind enough to take us on a lovely boat ride around the lake! While not fancy, this little cottage is a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, pleasant accommodation on a beautiful lake!"
