The hotel is very nice and has some nice restaurant options. The grounds are very pretty. The golf carts will bring you anywhere you want to go and we never waited long for one. The downside and why I took away a star is because we didn’t have hot water all week. When it’s chilly in the evening and you have to get ready to go out, I don’t want to take a room temperature shower. Called several times and they pretended to fix it. Very frustrating. I’m not the first person with water issues at this place because I’ve read things on some of the Facebook pages about it. I was just hoping it wasn’t true.

Our second time here. We chose to come back because we were very happy with their excellent service and food. The staff were all professionally. The place is very clean and we felt safe. The guests were all nice and friendly as well.

This is a beautiful property looking at the Pacific Ocean. During the month of January, you could see whales. It’s a timeshare facility and so you do get people trying to coerce you to attend a timeshare meeting

We love Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort! This year they outdid themselves. We were at the Monte Cristo villas where the properties were amazing. The service the restaurant there was spot on and the food was amazing especially the quesadillas. We'll be back next year!

Cabo Pueblo Bonito Sunset

We left the amenities at Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort. The staff was amazing, especially Daniela on our checkout experience. Maria kept our room in beautiful state every day for us to return to. Our waiter at Qivira steakhouse, Magdiel, was wonderful as was the food. We enjoyed two of the best dinners as well as beautiful sunsets while dining. We will definitely come back!

When we arrived, the resort seemed dated - well manicured, but 90’s. At check in we were advised that requests are “just asks” and are not honoured and it is not communicated - like a king size bed or a roll away bed for our daughter. Why go on vacation for less amenities than we have at home? That meant checkin took 2 whole hours from our vacation and all in all they ended up pushing 2 queen beds together as we were advised that King beds are rare to find at this resort. The timeshare people are AGRESSIVE and annoying (coming up to you at every meal) but the items they offer you to come to their meetings are lucrative! Alcohol, upgrades to “all inclusive” and we were offered two free excursions for all three of us. … and then they all called to cancel because they didn’t have enough people in them!!! We had to fight to get different ones but my husband almost got thrown off the resort to get us what we were promised. Too bad it was so slimy - the timeshare options actually seemed good but in no way did we trust these people now. Went to the buffet once on Brazil night and it was horrible - went back and ordered room service which took over an hour - wish I could upload a pic of the disgusting nachos. The rest of the a la carts were good - only options for kids are chicken fingers, burgers and pizza (no fruit or veggies allllll week. - side note - it was rare to see kids at this resort and not many activities for them. Our 8yo had fun but we made the fun.

Fabulous views of the pacific. Quiet stretch of beach. Unfortunately you cannot swim in the ocean, but we really enjoyed the long walks. The whale watching was amazing. Food was on par with 5 star all inclusive resorts. La Frida was our favorite fee based restaurant. They served the best cocktails and indigenous food. The staff work very hard, and we really appreciate their service. This is a very vertical landscape, so the golf carts are essential for anyone with walking challenges. We sampled the sister properties in San Lucas, which is a party town. The benefit of these is that you can swim in the beach. Best day trip was to San Jose > a peaceful and charming town with lots of art galleries. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful 6 night stay at PBS. We ended up upgrading to a villa in Montecristo as we were traveling in a larger group. The properties were very well taken care of and the staff were all friendly. Some of the service seemed very slow but nothing that would persuade me to not book the property again in the future. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The room upgrade was unexpectedly good. The staff was amazing, the food was good as always, and the resorts are well maintained and beautiful. Minor, but in the villa, there were some edges here and there that seemed unfinished, and some paint was peeling.

Amazing food and views! This resort is huge and there’s a lot of things to do. You can catch the free shuttle bus from the market to visit the sister property for more all inclusive things to do. This is our second time at this resort the staff is always friendly and there is and food is always good. We will definitely be back again!
