First, I want to note that communication with the host was excellent. He was responsive and made a genuine effort to address issues during our stay.Pros:The location is very convenient with quick access to the interstate. It is also walkable to downtown shops and restaurants.Cons:Noise was the biggest drawback. Our unit was in a loud part of the building, with disruptive neighbors. The property is along the TRAX line, which is frequent and loud during the day and runs until about 10pm. This made working from home difficult.Sound insulation is nonexistent, so outside noise at night is very noticeable. There is also a visible homeless population on the block. We did not have issues, but it is something to consider.Amenities are basic. The sleeper sofa in the living room was easily the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. This made relaxing in the unit very difficult.Common areas are not accessible until after 10am, which limited workspace options. A friend left a phone there overnight and there was no way to retrieve it until it reopened, nobody on site at the building to address this. The hot tub was out of service for 17 days, and the AC was not working for the first 3 days, with indoor temps around 78 degrees. For a short stay, these may be minor, but over a month they added up.
