Great place to stay at. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. It’s close by the central historical park. Would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Puebla.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us every time we were coming and going. The property maintained its historic charm while updating the rooms. It's conveniently located by the Museo Amparo and a short walk from the main square. It's also connected to an excellent coffee shop if you are a coffee nerd. I would definitely stay here again, but I would consider spending a little extra to get a better room than the basic one. It had more shelving and organizational space than my apartment, and the shower was fantastic. It had good water pressure and was stocked with excellent soaps. But my room had no windows so it would get almost pitch black at night, except for a half-inch gap above the door. That seemed to let in more sound than light, though. The bathroom was also on the second floor, and if you're not careful, you might hit your head on the staircase getting out of bed in the middle of the night. If you do get that same room, I suggest leaving the bathroom light on at night. Overall, safe and clean place ran by friendly folks in a walkable neighborhood with plenty of good food and drink nearby. My specific room just had a few minor quirks.

We were really impressed with this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant is delicious. We had problems with the ac in our room and we were moved to a more updated room. We liked the location of the hotel so close to downtown.

There are no words to describe our wonderful experience during our stay at La Casona. From the moment you take two steps into the quaint hidden gem you are immediately blown away by its beauty. Thinking it can’t get any better, we walk into the heaven of hotel rooms. We got suite 18… A suite the size of a small California Condo. With a partial Glass Cieling that allowed us to absorb the sound of the rain as it tapped the glass. The staff was so attentive. The location couldn’t be any more perfect, literally steps away from the center of the city. There’s a small convenience store across the street, and quite a few libraries surrounding it. We have traveled through 80% of Mexico and I could honestly say, La Casona 65 kept our heart. We can not wait to return and hope to do so quickly. Thank you to all the staff at La Casona for making our stay unforgettable, you are all truly amazing.

The Casona Boutique 65 is extremely nice with a style and feel that blends with the surrounding Puebla Historic Center. Our stay was 10 days and we feel very fortunate to have found and selected this hotel for our long visit. All the rooms in this old mansion (casona) converted into a hotel are different. We stayed in unit #6, which has a huge bedroom with complete living area next to it. We traveled with another couple and had family from Mexico City visit us, and the living area severed as a perfect private gathering place for us. The staff was also superb, very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Another huge benefit of staying here is its proximity to restaurants, attractions and the tour bus stops which are all a 5 to 15 minute walk away. I highly recommend this hotel and would not think twice of staying there again. Cannot beat the value and overall Puebla experience this hotel offers.

This was our second time visiting this property. We returned because the first time we had an excellent experience and this time it was just as a good or better. We did get an upgrade to the presidential suite, which was a wonderful surprise and made our stay extra special. The staff is awesome! Very friendly and always offering to help make our stay the best possible. If we return to visit Puebla, this will be my choice for our stay.
