Very unique and clean hotel. Modern amenities and beautiful, big lobby for visiting friends and family. Sorry breakfast wasn't included in the higher price we paid.

It is spendy!! There is no parking other than valet or feed the meters on the street. So, parking was $30 per night . We never could figure out the smart fridge. I guess that is “welcome to the big city.”

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize you did not know about our full service valet amenity before arriving to our hotel. We do offer parking packages that include parking so there is not charge beyond room and tax. We hope to see you again in the future!

I chose this hotel because it's a block away from the Convention Center, where I was attending an event. Was SO pleased with the decor, attention to detail and friendliness of staff! Was able to take light rail train from airport to hotel. Great hotel and location. Will stay again.

Staff there is very friendly. Rooms are clean and very convenient to the convention center and the MET (train system). Hotel is very modern. The price is my only issue with this hotel. There are other hotels just as close that don't cost as much. Not as modern but just as clean.

Gorgeous, clean, contemporary hotel!

Pros: Great rooftop restaurant! Lobby and our room were clean, modern, gorgeous. Front desk staff super-nice and helpful! Comfortable bed. Hotel was quiet.
Cons: It was challening to get online and stay there. I had to coax it every single time. Toilet paper was very low-quality. A microwave would be nice.
Location: It is kitty-corner from the Convention Center, and we enjoyed walking over there for an event. There is a good burger place across the street.
My husband and I were both very pleased with the Eastlund Hotel. Our room was not large, but it was super-clean and attractive, with a nice city view. We enjoyed being able to open the window for fresh air. Thermostat worked easily and quickly. Food, drinks, view, and service in the rooftop restaurant were excellent. The front desk staff were pleasant and super-helpful in providing whatever we wanted, including suggestions about places to go. Every valet parking attendant was Johnny-on-the-spot whenever we wanted our car. When the staff learned that it was my husband's birthday, they immediately sent up a card, chocolates, and a bottle of wine! Things that bothered us: (1) had to do battle every single time to get online; had to keep entering our room number and last name over and over—very frustrating; (2) poor-quality toilet paper (pretty darned annoying); (3) lack of texture on the shower floor—I worried about slipping and falling; (4) the shower head was SO HIGH that there was no way I could reach it to adjust the angle. I just had to make do unless my husband was there to reach it for me. But overall, we loved this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Gem of a hotel

It was wondeful! The boutique rooms though a bit small had absolutely everything you would need.... Including a charger to accommodate almost any kind of smart phone. The rooftop bar and resturant were superb, and Citizen Bakerhad great breakfast and pastries to die for! You can hear the light rail across the street which did not bother me... But I saw ear plugs in the room..

Downtown Portland, Oregon Hotel

Pros: Very modern, up-to-date room accommodations, secure parking and a very hospitable and helpful staff at all levels who know the area.
Cons: It's a common thing, but I wish the pillows weren't so thick; hard on my neck.
Location: You're right downtown and within easy distance of great restaurants, shops, places to go, etc.
We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the Eastlund Hotel in downtown Portland. We came just for the night to see a great show and picked this hotel to be near our destination. It worked out beautifully and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and our room was and the convenience of a late-night restaurant and bar if desired.

Great Hotel! Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Eastlund. Very comfortable, clean and the restaurants both serve excellent choices and quality preparation. The location was perfect and it made it easy to jump on/off the MAX, streetcars or buses to go wherever our day took us. Rooms were very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
