We will never stay here again. The bedsheets had hair and makeup stains in the main bedroom. The place was infested with ants. Guests in both bedrooms were bit while sleeping. The most infested area was the guest bath, they were all over the tub and ceiling. The host said they would locally fumigate to treat them, but we have kids and definitely didn’t want to be inhaling that stuff during our stay. The guest mini split AC reeked of mildew which made the bedsheets smell to the point that the guests didn’t want to sleep on them. The host offered to bring new ones, but the guests said the AC smelled awful and after being bit by ants they chose to sleep on the living room couch. Lastly, future guests need to be made aware of SpaceX tests and launches. We woke up one morning to what we thought was an earthquake, which scared everyone and terrified the children. Everything was shaking for about 2 minutes including the water in the channel, it’s terrifying when you’re not expecting it, I grew up staying at various places in Long Island Village, but it’s been about 5 years since our last stay here. I can honestly say the vicinity and facilities have gone downhill and aren’t being maintained. The pool water is murky, the hot tub walls are green from mildew, everything looks old and dirty. It’s so disappointing.
