Bienvenido al condominio Castillo de Arena, administrado por Península Properies. Ubicado en los condominios The Elements de Playa del Carmen en la Riviera Maya, México. Cuenta con una increíble vista al Mar Caribe, ya que está ubicado cruzando la calle de Coco Beach.



Al entrar podrás apreciar una gran cocina, área de sala y comedor, y una espaciosa terraza, con vista desde cualquier espacio. Los colores característicos de esta unidad proporcionan un fondo relajante con arte regional. Abundan los acabados y muebles nuevos, incluida toda su nueva cocina completamente equipada y remodelada. Cada ventana incluye persiana de rodillo duo para día y noche para su privacidad.



Al entrar por la puerta principal, a mano izquierda se encuentra la habitación de huéspedes con dos camas individuales y un baño completo recientemente remodelado. Justo frente a la puerta principal ligeramente a la izquierda te encontrarás con la cocina, el bar y un cuarto de lavandería con su lavadora y secadora. El comedor cuenta con 6 lugares y la sala con una televisión 4K plana de 55 pulgadas, reproductor Blu ray inteligente, y servicio satelital para expandir sus opciones de entretenimiento.

A la izquierda del comedor, un pasillo te lleva a la habitación principal, con una cama king y su baño, igualmente remodelado, también cuenta con una pantalla plana de 36 pulgadas con servicio satelital. Usted encontrará un amplio espacio de almacenamiento para sus ropa y pertenencias en cada habitación.



Accede desde la terraza a la habitación principal o la sala. Disfrute de la vista libre de obstáculos al océano y a la propiedad. Prepare una carne asada o hamburguesas en su asador completo de gas Weber. Además, ésta propiedad cuenta con la piscina infinity más larga de Playa del Carmen.



Elements cuenta con un centro de negocios con terminales para computadora, internet inalámbrico, gimnasio. El condominio tiene una excelente ubicación, ya que está a unos pasos de la Quinta Avenida, pero lo suficientemente separado para disfrutar de una tranquila tarde o noche.

Great service and facilities.

Everything was great: the furniture, the cleanliness, and Luis's service. I understand the part about asking for a deposit, as they have to protect the furniture which is of good quality if anything is damaged due to misuse. We had a good time. The beach is just steps away with lounge chairs. There's a bar and food service, and you can also bring your own drinks and food, as long as you respect the rules. There's also a highly recommended massage service.

Everything about the property was excellent. The staff at the property were extremely helpful with any needs that we had. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Our favorite part was the perfect view of the water from the deck outside. We will definitely be coming back!

Breezy, enchanting, peaceful, gorgeous view

This condo in the Elements, right on the beach with the most beautiful pool in Playa, is our family's favorite winter vacation getaway. It is beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained, and located in the "best" part of Playa. The managing agent, NAS, as always was helpful, prompt, and provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this property to anyone! We love restaurants like El Fogon, Cueva del Chango, and El Diez. We look forward to our visits to Playa every year and can't wait for the next one!

Property was all we hope for. The location was perfect. Beachfront and near everything. Loved it.

Great house... sub par communication with rental company

House was great and had a really nice location. We just had quite a few hiccups with our check in and check out. Make sure you get your confirmation email 2 weeks before you leave for Mexico because it has all of your checkin info. The front desk is very helpful, but many of the workers speak very little English and can't help you without that email. As for the checkout process, make sure you keep that email handy that you used for checkin. It also takes over 2 weeks to get your deposit refunded, which seems like a really long time. We have done many home rentals in the past and this one was a bit extra hassle.

Nice condo, very comfortable

Hard to beat this location. Very quiet and away from the busy 5th ave or pier area. We walked to 5th each night for dinner, but our best dinner may have been at the Italian restaurant right up the street about 200 yards. For us the pool was the biggest disappointment. I chose this property because my family enjoys a nice pool. Although it looks just like the pics, it is very shallow so the water WARM. The last thing you want to feel after baking in the sun is warm water. We forced ourselves to use it one day but left after about 10 min. The beach club is nice. We never had to worry about getting a chair at the beach. There are burgers and snacks are fairly reasonably priced and tastes good. If you want a little more drink diversity, Canibal Royal is right next door (north) and they have fresh seafood. The condo is very nice and the staff here at The Elements is great. If you don't mind a warm to hot water pool, I recommend this property.

great condo with fantastic view

We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the ocean. The concierge, associated with the condo, did a good job of lining up our excursions. I would give the condo a B+. It would have gotten an A rating except for two things. 1) there was a strong sulfur smell outside but I don't see how the owners can be faulted for that. 2) There is a beach club about 150 yards down the beach. They played loud music but the positioning of the condo muted most of it - except for a heavy bass beat. But the music was always shut down before 10PM. Would I stay there again - yes.

Best rental in Playa

My wife and I returned to Playa again this summer and we were thrilled to be able to stay at The Elements. We have stayed 3 other places and this was by far the best rental, in the best location with the best amenities. Clean and spacious with amazing views and an unbelievable pool. The staff was friendly and welcoming, you're so close to the beach and the perfect distance from 5th avenue. Our only regret was not staying longer, we plan to stay here again next summer.

Comfort and views!

Castillo Del Mar was exactly as described. It is spacious and well maintained . The location, close to 5ta Avenida but far enough from the hustle and bustle , gave us the option to stay in quietly to enjoy the beach and pool or walk over to enjoy the lively atmosphere of 5th Ave. We were comfortable in the condo overall. We loved the glass walls facing the beach and the pool. Also, loved sitting out on the balcony to soak in the views, sound of waves swaying softly, and watched our kids cooling in the beautiful pool. The only reason I didn't give this condo a 5 star is that the a/c unit in the master bedroom wasn't cold enough then on the last night, it just gave up. We opened the sliding door and it allowed a soft cool breeze in, so it was a quick fix for that night. We reported this to Deborah. I would definitely recommend Castillo Del Mar to anyone going to Playa Del Carmen. We are a family of five and this condo suit our every need and want by far. It is so spacious and close to restaurants too. We had breakfast and dinner at la Cueva Del Chango, excellent food! Oh, having parking on the complex was also a plus! We drove to Tulum, Xcaret, Xplor, Cancun, and around Playa Del Carmen! Love this place! Claudia

Perfection

This was a perfect vacation -- wish we would have booked another week. 3 ladies over 62+ and we felt 100% safe and comfortable. The condo was decorated beautifully (lots of pillows-everywhere)! Matt and Allan have made sure their guests want for nothing, and that our total time was all vacation. The beach is steps from the door and you can stay in for ever. The view from there is so gorgeous, serene and peaceful. So much to do in the area with the numerous Mayan Ruins, cenotes, and beaches. Many ways to get around -- if you are not familiar, or did not rent a car (we did not), we found the most fabulous taxi driver who was at our 'beck-and-call' for a very small amount of money ---- and who was priceless to our thrust of knowledge. If you are considering vacationing in this area - please give this property a look, you can not go wrong, and will be very pleased with this choice.

Fantastic location and unit

We stayed here for two weeks and come to Playa every year, this is easily our favorite place we've stayed. The unit itself is very well maintained, safe/secure, and quiet. The view is incredible and the beach club is great. With the umbrellas and chairs you don't need to carry a lot with you and having the beach club there is nice if you need a drink. The beach itself is very clean and the water was perfect this year. When not using the beach, the pool was the best I have seen in Playa, lots of room and different depths for all ages. This location is one of the best in Playa, close enough to all the action but far enough away to be a little quieter. Nasplaya is the best to rent from, the concierge service is really helpful and they always answered any questions quickly.

Fantastic Condo

We rented Castillo for our first week in Playa and the condo was just great. The view is spectacular and we loved the beach club. The food service at the beach was a real treat for my kids as well. We would definitely come back!

Great location, needs some attention to details

I think this condo may have a new owner. We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it enough to come back. The location of the condo is perfect, on the quiet end of PDC, 2nd floor with beautiful ocean views. A short walk to the beautiful pool, and just steps to the private beach, and just a couple of blocks from 5th avenue. No need to rent a car, taxis to Mega are cheap,and you can always walk down 5th for dining or shopping. We probably won't come back again though. I've listed all that is lovely above, but when you are paying top dollar you expect certain amenities to be in place. Number one complaint, no fitted sheets for king size bed in Master bedroom (a complaint I had 2 years ago). You wake up sleeping on the bare mattress because any slight shift while sleeping releases the top sheet and ill fitting mattress cover used in place of proper sheets. If you cook, expect to have to get creative with pots & pans (pot and pan) and minimal serving dishes available. Dishwasher did a terrible job of cleaning the dishes, so we washed everything by hand. The oven is full of dishes that can't be stored elsewhere. Master bath has ONE hook, when several are needed for towels and suits. Hooks in the shower would be nice for suits, but don't exist. Furniture in the front room is one couch with one side chair. We moved the ugly and uncomfortable couch placed by the front door to accommodate a group seating, but it was uncomfortable. The battery for the remote for the DVD player was dead, really wasn't a big deal, since there were only 5 DVDs to choose from. Having books and DVDs available to guests (and a remote that works) are small things, but things that make the stay more enjoyable for guests. They are nice touches that say, "You don't have to worry about packing batteries or DVDS, because you are paying $350 a night to stay here and we appreciate your business and want to give you the best experience possible." The TV and dresser have been removed from the master bedroom, which, again, doesn't matter if there is nothing to watch on the TV. Yes, we enjoy the beach and all the wonderful activities in Playa during the day, but when the sun goes down, it is nice to hang out with the family and watch movies, or heck, even just sit on furniture together. All in all, great location, well managed by American Standard Properties, Deborah did a great job organizing a variety of day trips which were well run. The condo is thoughtlessly appointed by the owner, for the price.
