Property was good. Location good. Eateries good. Available tours good. Fridge did not work even after asking for someone to fix it. That was important to us because we had medication that needed to be kept cold. Leaving for the airport there was either rat/cat poop in the lobby (I have pictures). Cleaning staff was very good. Restaurant staff very good. Lobby greeting was very good. Not a bad hotel.

The Hotel is very good and staff are wonderful. The beach is small, but good water to swim in. Easy to walk to market etc. Hotel chose a coffee machine with pods and they would only supply enough for 2 cups each. and refused more? That should change

The 4th floor room was good size and comfortable. It had an open concept, with bathroom separated from sleeping and living area by just a thin pull down curtain. I’m never comfortable with that layout, though i see it a lot in hotels. The balcony and view were very nice. The hotel lobby area was large like an airport terminal gate holding people who were just coming and going. Not much character to the hotel itself other than a nice large swimming pool and the balcony view. No landscape to speak of. We enjoyed the fire dance at restaurant just a few meters from hotel. We had a good time in Phu Quoc, and the hotel helped.

Arrived for new years. What a feast! 4 hours of music, with intermissions that included lion dancing and a magician. Band was really, really good. Only couple of negatives: too many people hung their clothes out to dry (nobody wants to see other people's unmentionables drying) and the breakfast food was average. Service was excellent and the room amenities top drawer.

Poor checking in protocol, waited over 2 hours when pre checking time was arranged and agreed upon. The room smelled like rotten fish. We complained to the staff and they sprayed air freshener and lit oil to try and cover up the smell, but it didn't help. It was late and we were too tired to change rooms so we just stayed and I work up with a terrible headache. After speaking to the manager, she said they've had this problem before on another floor but not on our floor. They did nothing to comp us for this huge inconvenience and gave us two bottles of free water. The only positive was the great buffet breakfast.
