The house was large and the pool was a fun addition to our stay (heated at an additional fee despite the misleading listing title). We were disappointed with the 10/10 star rating as the cleanliness and upkeep were very poor. We attempted to share pictures with the host but following 2 attempts, communication stopped. Through our stay we found:- All pots and pans were dirty. We had to clean each prior to use.- Toilet paper holders were broken or coming off the wall.- Smoke alarms disconnected and left without a device attached.- Dirty baseboards, dirty bedroom doors, stained carpet throughout the house, missing light fixture covers, missing wall socket face plates, 4 of 6 pool cues were unusable, broken main bathroom shower door (replaced with a curtain), garbage stacked and left on the side of the house, dead flower arrangement at the outdoor BBQ area. The impression was the upkeep was totally missing. The nightly rate must only be covering the mortgage payment and not much more.
