Book a hotel near Pensacola Museum of Art, Downtown Pensacola

"The room was really clean and staff were outstandingly nice! I had breakfast vouchers so we ate downstairs and you can’t bring food back really as it’s more of a dine in type service than continental. They also had two different options for breakfast on sat- (French toast sticks changed on Sunday to breakfast potatoes), along with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, grits, fruit, bread and bagels to toast yourself, muffins, 4 types of cereal: fruit loops, Raisin Bran, Kellogg flakes not frosted, and Cheerios, and lastly yogurt from what I can recall. The coffee and drinks have to be brought to your table like a dine in restaurant too, but they’re really nice and are fast. The pool was nice w/ a small “splashpad” section. And Wi-Fi was free. Things I didn’t like: on the 7th floor room we had when first walking in although it’s really clean it did have a wet mildew type smell (again odd bc it was so clean), upon walking in one day getting back from the beach the front lady did not greet us (not a big deal but I do remember this & it stuck with me), you have to pay for parking, & the top cover of the bed is rough not smooth (if you have sensory issues this could be an issue). When we stayed at a hotel on the beach before we didn’t have to pay for parking so this took me aback a second. Overall though it was a great and accessible hotel experience especially being so new and clean with great staff. I would stay here again if ever visiting Pensacola and recommend you do too."

"We really enjoyed staying in this boat house. It was very clean and we were able to park our boat right next to it. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. Two restaurants are on site- Fish House and Atlas Oyster Bar. Both were great.We planned our trip with boating in mind. We trailered our 20’ boat to Pensacola and unloaded it at the Mahogany Mill boat ramp. It’s a free boat ramp 10 minutes away and pretty nice. It has a wash down hose on site. We parked our SUV and boat trailer there for most of our stay. The house boat owners will allow you to park your boat trailer at the marina for the first or last night of your stay, but any longer and they ask you to store it at their off site storage facility nearby. Since we were only there three nights, we chanced it and left our suv/trailer at the boat ramp and either walked or took our boat. We loaded our luggage onto the boat before splashing it so it was easy to transfer to the house. On our last day, we loaded the boat and took it over to the marina. They allowed me to wash and flush the boat at the end of the cul-de-sac by the marina office and then park it in the back of the adjacent gravel lot. They have dock carts you can use to ferry your luggage from the parking lot if need be. It is 100 yard walk from the entrance gate to the unit. To us it wasn’t a big deal, but I’d recommend checking the weather and bring a rain jacket so you don’t get soaked walking to the unit. For boating, this place is ideal. "
