"Aitken House was beautiful, well thought through and very well equipped. Sleeping arrangements were set up ideally for the group staying and contact with the hosts was excellent in the run up to the stay. A particular highlight is the beautiful, large kitchen space. The hot tub of course, is an added bonus and staff come to check it every morning. The house is in a fantastic location for walking and is close to local amenities. A few things to improve our stay; - The water from the taps is extremely hot, and could easily scald you, particularly if a child unknowingly puts their hands under the hot tap. A sign next to the taps to warn how hot the water is would be beneficial for safety reasons. -The games room should be re advertised, as though it is a welcomed addition and was well used during our stay, it is not as advertised. - We were lucky enough to experience beautiful weather during our stay; the bedrooms become very warm. However, due to being situated on a very busy main road, it was very difficult to sleep with the windows open. There are signs to advise considering the planet and keeping windows closed, however, there were no fans provided to help cope with the heat in the bedrooms. These would be a welcomed addition."
