G2N - G2 North Vineyard

Perched atop a serene hilltop overlooking seemingly endless vineyards, the G2 North Vineyard home is a breathtakingly remodeled property that invites you to embrace the tranquility of quiet country living while being just a stone's throw away from Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, and the coastal gems of Cambria, Cayucos, and Morro Bay along the 46 West. Dive headfirst into the wine country lifestyle at this hilltop sanctuary. Picture yourself unwinding on the back patio, savoring the aroma of BBQ wafting through the air as you clink glasses filled with local wine against a backdrop of rolling hills. Nestled within a working vineyard, this expansive abode not only boasts a main house but also features a private suite to the left of the main entrance. The cozy suite includes a queen bed, an en-suite full bathroom, and contributes to the overall bedroom and bathroom count, making it a perfect retreat for families and friends seeking a relaxing getaway.
Just a short drive away from numerous world-class wineries, this hidden gem on the central coast sits atop a private hill surrounded by lush trees and sweeping views of the wine country. Watch mesmerizing sunsets paint the sky in hues of red and orange, and lose yourself in stargazing sessions under the vast night sky.
The house isn't merely a dwelling amidst grapevines; it's a haven perched high on a hill witnessing the unfolding of Bill Gibbs' latest endeavor, the G2 North Vineyard (G2N). In addition to his famed Heart Stone Vineyard and G2 Vineyard, focusing on premium Rhone varietals like Syrah and Grenache for renowned wineries such as Saxum and Turtle Rock, Bill recently acquired the 80-acre G2 North Vineyard. Positioned in the coveted Willow Creek AVA, this vineyard specializes in Bordeaux varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, making it a key player in the winemaking scene.
Surrounded by esteemed wineries like Clos Solene and James Berry Vineyard, G2N is already making waves in the industry, with top wineries like Turtle Rock and Herman Story among its clientele. The 2022 harvest marks the debut of this vineyard's organic, low-yield farming practices, promising high-quality produce that's set to elevate the region's winemaking standards.
G2N offers so much more than access to wine country – from the awe-inspiring views and secluded setting away from bustling roads, to a welcoming gathering space, to the opportunity to marvel at the unspoiled night sky free from light pollution. Not to mention the proximity to esteemed westside wineries and the allure of the house itself, promising a stay filled with relaxation and wonder. Perfection awaits at G2N – where every moment is destined to be unforgettable. County Permit # 6010661

Perfect Stay

My family had an absolutely wonderful time at the vacation house. It is located on top of a hill on a vineyard and the view was amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. We had ages from 5-91 and everyone was very happy with the choice. The common spaces were really welcoming and easy to gather in- and everyone had a very relaxing, nice room. (It’s so common that there’s one strange room someone gets stuck with- but that definitely wasn’t the case here!) Feels very far away but was only 10-15 minutes from Trader Joe’s and town. Be sure to review the well written directions! I didn’t and got a bit lost. If you follow the directions it’s very easy to get to.

Wine Weekend

What a great place. It fit our group of 8 with room to spare. The house was really comfortable and was a perfect place for our visit. Beautiful view of the vineyard and sunrises in the morning. The vineyard provides grapes to for some of the best wines in Paso. I would highly recommend!

House on a steep hill

Rooms not advertised correctly. I do not like when (2) half baths are listed as a full bath. Very deceiving. Hard to find and get to the house with the narrow road. I felt the price did not reflex the accommodations

Unique Girls-Trip Stay Near Paso Robles!

This beautiful, ranch-style home provides a unique experience for renters! It is a hilltop hideaway with a ton of space indoors and out! Be prepared for a dirt road with a twisting drive without street lights, but which will lead you to a spectacular view of a valley of vineyards! If you’re looking for a quiet stay with family or friends, this is it! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cooking pots/pans, utensils and serve ware. We appreciated the coffeemakers provide (regular drip and pod options), however, we were not provided with paper towels, trash liners, or sponges. Much of the glassware in the cabinets was spotty. The bedrooms met our needs, but the one listed that is off of the primary bedroom was not HVAC-controlled. The window frames were screened and covered on the outside with mesh, but there were no glass windows to keep the air controlled, therefore, we did not use it. The beds we’re comfortable with cozy bedding! The bathrooms needed bar soap and Kleenex tissues provided in each. Having stated some needs, I’m sure I could have called the management company to provide those things, but our group was making a grocery store run anyway, so we took care of it. Overall, our experience was really good! The house was clean and spacious, and we were provided with information about the Paso Robles area, which was very helpful! We would rent the property again!

Great house!

House was great! My only negative is that it is in the middle of nowhere. Not so close to town and the drive up to the house was a bit hairy. Otherwise, house is great, especially if you’re not driving to town so much. Great balcony, great view, great coffee station supplies, very roomy, beds comfy!

hilltop getaway

Perfect for two families and the upstairs great for cousins to be in one room and have their own bathroom. Views are gorgeous and it's very peaceful and quiet. Our issues : dead flies throughout the house, the master shower was dirty and there was a lot of bat excrement outside of the back door. No running hot water throughout the entire home. The company was responsive and sent their maintenance person right away. He cleaned up the excrement outside but was unable to fix the issue had to send someone else out and issue was resolved. The next day we did not have any water pressure, toilets wouldn't flush and we were unable to shower. Thankfully these issues were resolved in time for the 9 of us to get ready for rehearsal dinner and then the wedding the next day. The paved road turns to gravel and is dusty so if you want to keep your car clean that is something to keep in mind. There is a room off of the master that has a bed but there are no glass windows only a double screen. This was unexpected as it is not described online. There is a door so we just kept it closed. The master doesn't have any blinds which wasn't an issue for us but if you want to sleep in it's not ideal. The umbrella bases are not very heavy so do not use if there is any wind as the umbrella will tip over. Home is beautifully updated and the views are amazing. We had issues but company was quick to remedy the issues.

Great House, Far from Cal Poly

Lovely home-clean and comfortable. Family of 10 for Cal Poly graduation. Didn’t realize how far off the beaten path and from the highway. Hard to know it’s location before booking. It takes at least 10-15 minutes just to get through the vineyards and curvy dirt roads. And steep incline to drive. Realized it was in Paso but not explained how far off the freeway. That being said it was an excellent place to hang out with and celebrate our daughters graduation. The views are amazing. Being secluded was quite lovely. The kitchen has everything except for a very large skillet, so cooking had to be done in small batches. I would have thought a place that sleeps 10 may have a skillet bigger than 8”. But it has great amounts of bowls, platters, provided aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, etc. Quite a variety of glasses and stemware. Driving directions were a bit vague as well as the check in process/door code for getting into the house. But the electronic information screen was totally cool and provided great instructions for check out. There were many different thermostats and we didn’t know which to use yet one did have instructions to not set it below a specific temperature. During the stay there was a banging noise often and consistently through our entire stay. It could be heard day and night and in a couple of the sleeping rooms. Quite an annoyance. Didn’t contact the property manager about it because was busy with graduation festivities but at night affected our slumber.

Beautiful Property Amidst the Vines

Truly the best BnB i have stayed at. We were a group of high school chums in our 70s. Sleeping capacity, beds and linens were wonderful. Mostly equipped kitchen. 2 type of coffee makers. Could have used more tissue and kitchen towels. We cooked a lot. The road up is treacherous so come in the daytime for sure. Once here you will love it and want to stay.

Great Wine Country Vista

The property was great. It sits on a secluded hill about 10 minutes outside of Paso Robles surrounded by vineyards. The pictures don’t do it justice. Great place for a family or group of friends to just hang out. We had a small plumbing issue on the first day. The manager was highly responsive and the problem was fixed within hours. Overall great experience. We would not hesitate to return.
