Perfect coastal escape

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The home is incredibly spacious, which was perfect for our family of 9. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with nice, modern appliances—everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Having a laundry room was a huge bonus, especially with three kids in tow!The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the pool and right by the tram stop for the beach, which made getting around super easy. The neighborhood itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff we interacted with were all very friendly. Communication was great throughout our stay; anytime we brought up a small issue, it was addressed quickly and professionally.One of our favorite parts was having five bikes available—we rode them daily to Alys Beach, Seacrest Beach, and Rosemary Beach. It really added to the whole vacation experience!The only downsides were the rugs in the home being pretty worn and a few stains on the living room couch. That said, we completely understand it’s a rental home with lots of guests coming through, and it wouldn’t stop us from staying here again, nor did it keep us from enjoying our stay. Overall, a great spot for a family beach getaway—we’d definitely come back!

Nice house but cheap furnishings and no kitchen equipment!

Stayed in Thai area-Seacrest multiple times but this house has cheap, not comfortable furniture in the living room. The kitchen didn’t have enough kitchen items to cook or utensils to eat. The beds were comfortable though. We had mixups with rental company (BeachWalk Vacations) on arrival and with bicycles. Would not book this house again!

A great stay on 30A

We had a great stay at Casa Del Mar with extended family. The property management company was easy to contact and responsive. The checkout procedures were very easy. The house is conveniently located between Alys Beach and Rosemary, but the actually beach access for the rental is shared with lots of other people, so I’d imagine it gets pretty crowded during peak weeks. The description said there are 5 bikes available, but there were actually 6 bikes when we arrived.

Meh

The house was not as clean as I would have liked it to be, but when we called the manager promptly sent someone to clean. My biggest complaint is the furniture. The sofa in the main living area was stained and sagging in the middle. The porch furniture was cheap and in poor condition (the porch sectional broke while we were sitting in it). 6/10.

Girls weekend

Beautiful property, loved the location. The kitchen was not equipped with enough things to cook with (a few glasses, one pan, few pots and utensils). Otherwise, it was great.

COCKROACHES AND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT

While we loved the Seacrest Community and would highly recommend staying in this development. We do NOT recommend this house or BeachWalk Vacations. First, the place was not properly cleaned when we first arrived. There were crumbs on the floor, dirty towels in some of the bathrooms, and general dust and grime everywhere. Second (and even worse), we started seeing cockroaches daily throughout the ground floor even on the kitchen counters. We raised these concerns with the property managers and were met with some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. They were rude and slow to respond and completely ignored our requests (seemingly only reading the first few words of a message as opposed to our whole message). While they did offer to spray for bugs, they were not respectful of our desires and concerns with the potential pest treatment given we had a seven month old baby. Given their lack of promptness and failure to read our messages fully, we were never able to come to an agreement about getting the place sprayed and had to finish our trip enjoying the beach and pool by the day and killing cockroaches at night. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience. Steer clear of this place and of BeachWalk Vacations.

Beach time with family and friends

We took our family to Seacrest and two of our kids brought a friend. They loved using the shuttle and the bikes to go to the beach. They also took the bikes for ice cream and pizza runs. The house was great. We had game nights and movie nights at the house. The neighborhood was lively and fun. Rosemary and Aly’s Beach were both walkable. We did some shopping around town and at the Hub. It was a very fun and relaxing vacation!

Wonderful vacation

The house was exactly as shown. 3 floor bedroom was nice except for the 3 stacked bunk beds, hard to get into. Great area, walking distance to beach and many areas close by.

Spring break

We had a great time. The place was so nice. Close to beach, short tram ride or walk. Lots of things to do around the place. It was a little hard to find the check in place. Be aware of all the spring break teens. They don’t seemed to be supervised and even with an 8pm curfew it was barely enforced. We loved the room upstairs with its own living area. The bunk beds are not recommended for adults as they are 3 high. Overall I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home.

House was amazing, beach is too small

The house was so clean and bright and smelled so new. The neighborhood is beautiful and extremely well kept. The pool is great and so are the staff! The town is super cute, and there are lots of great restaurants. The shuttle drivers are so friendly. The beach is very underwhelming, because all the people for the entire property have to fit on this tiny square of beach. The beach front is blocked from sight because rental chairs and umbrellas line the shore, so I wouldn't stay here if you're sold on the beach. But the beach town neighborhood is awesome!
