I requested a king bed and got a queen which wasn’t the end of the world but not what we hoped for. The walls were very thin and we heard our neighbors conversations into the very early morning. The fire alarm also went off when we took showers in the bathroom, the water wasn’t that hot and the shower wasn’t running for more than 10 minutes. No fan to turn on to help with the steam. Won’t stay here again for the price that we paid.

Exceptional!

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Lots of lovely restaurants and cute shops in downtown Birmingham. I was delighted and the hotel is so close.
I was completely impressed with this hotel - it was beyond my expectations in every way. The lobby/rooms were very fresh and updated, everything was sparking clean, the staff was more than helpful and friendly and the breakfast surpassed any complimentary breakfast I have ever had. In fact, there was a lovely woman in the breakfast room, diligently and continually cleaning up and refreshing the buffet, cleaning the tables. There was not a spot of food debris on the buffet counters, etc, nothing was sticky, etc. Not to diminish any aspect of this hotel, all I can say is everything was outstanding.

Convenient

The hotel location is great. The room air condition/heating system is incredibly loud and intermittent with the room heating needs. It made a decent stay much more challenging. Otherwise good value.

Close to town

Great location, great breakfast. Thermostat never worked & never repaired. Safe never worked & not repaired. Clean room, comfortable bed.
