Lots of black mold, chipped paint and rust in bathroom. The staff is nice but the bathroom area was disgusting with lots of black mold around the tub and paint pealing off the walls. Kind of disgusting. The bathroom appliances should have been replaced about forty years ago.

Amazing!

A once in a lifetime experience in an out of this world location. It certainly helped that the weather was perfect. It's hard to imagine a better hotel sunset view on the oregon coast. We purposely did not leave the room other than to walk down to the beach of course. And we left the deck door open all night as the crashing waves were better than any white noise machine money can buy. But what made this stay even sweeter was the wonderful warm hospitality of the proprietors. They made you feel like family because I think it's family owned and operated. I'd have given it a six if the stars went up that high.

What an area, so awesome. The hotel must be original since the 50's, so outdated, warn, and in need of upgrades. The day we checked in was 78 degrees and the room was much warmer inside. No AC, just a 8" small table fan. No windows to open, just a sliding patio door just opened to walkway others used so couldn't leave it open all night, too hot to sleep and didn't sleep

We loved this room, it was ADA, and really helped with access due to mobility issues. The view was spectacular, even though the price was high it was worth the splurge. We would stay there again. The stairs to the beach was steep but well maintained. There was a pair of black ladies underwear in the bottom drawer, left untouched.

We had dinner at Lord Bennett’s Retaurant next door as recommended by the woman who checked us in the hotel. Our meal was excellent. We also appreciated the panoramic view of the ocean from our room. The bed was comfortable.

The front office was fabulous. The room was older but clean. The price was great for summer. It’s a great location.. no air in the older side.

Highly recommend getting a room right on the beach. The room was recently renovated. The view was unbelievable and the sound of the waves crashing lull you to sleep.

Must Visit - Amazing Stay

From the moment we arrived the Sunset Oceanfront Lodging, it was a wonderful experience. The check in was so welcoming and efficient. The room far exceeded our expectations. There could not have been a better was to experience the beach and the view.
