Housekeeping staff are wonderful. Room is clean. Pet fee should be in the website. Nikki at the front desk was rude and needs basic customer service training. We will never stay here again.

Misrepresented

Location: If you want to walk 45 to 60 minutes back down to the highway you might be able to cross the six lanes of traffic to get to the mall called the Forum
This is one of two Candlewood Suites hotels in Fort Myers. The amenities given are for the one in the Commerce Park off Bass Road area. The Candlewood advertised is on Colonial Blvd. off I 75 and has no pool yet it is listed on Travelocity as having one. While I was there I let them know I had a cane. They put me on the third floor about as far away from the elevator as they could. This floor was also undergoing renovations so the locks were being changed on the doors daily. Since there are no safes in the room I had to pack my carry on every time I left and lock it in my rental car. The refrigerator had a broken compressor that would start to rattle in the middle of the night for an hour or two. I ran out of toilet paper during the week I was there and my husband was able to get another roll by walking into a unit the housekeeping staff had left open. The Stanly Steemer people were in and out doing quotes on floor cleaning and when they actually started the work there were hoses in the hallways to dodge and they started at 8 am.

This Candlewood Suites is very convenient to shopping, dining & entertainment. The rooms were clean & spacious. The staff was very helpful. Excellent!
