Great hotel, terrible coffee in the lobby breakfast. I'm not picky at all but that coffee was bad, like really bad. It tasted like it had tabasco sauce in it. It was really bad. Really bad.

Wedding Guests

Pros: It was clean, modern, and convenient.
Cons: The hotel should have given us a call regarding the AC before check in.
Location: Downtown Norfolk, VA is really cool.
We reserved a room two nights for guests to our daughter's wedding. When we checked on our guests upon arrival, they reported there was no AC, but that the hotel team was working on it. We learned the next morning that our guests were moved to the other side of the hotel where the sun had not heated the rooms so much, but still no AC (BTW, the days had been 95+ degrees). Our friends were moved a second time to another room for the second night to a room where the AC was working. The hotel promised our friends that one night's cost would be refunded to my account. I just looked, there have not been any deposits to suit yet.

Room and location were great, parking charge was not.

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
Cons: parking charge
The hotel room and location, including the breakfast, were great. However, nowhere on the site did it mention the $18 parking fee! Then I found a random charge for $20 too on my card.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

Very clean, decor was nice, and Jessica @ the front desk was a gem! We are definitely coming back!!!
