This is a property for people who are there to party I would not recommend a professional or traditional person stay here. They do not have fridges or safes in the rooms.. The front desk is the bar. Plenty of parking around. Alot of construction in the area. However the location is super convenient the price is good and if you there to party and don't expect much I loved it I'll stay again but if I wanted more professional setting I would not stay

Staff didn't seem to know about bar or amenities. Wifi wasn't working which I needed for work. The only thing they offered to compensate was hotel points. I expect an upsell on snacks and food but the prices were exceptionally high. Some of the fixtures already seemed kind of worn down for a relatively new hotel. Odd experience.

I recently stayed here during St. Patty’s weekend and had a wonderful experience. Contrary to some reviews mentioning tiny rooms, our king-size bed room was spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. This room also included a work area with desk and chair. The shower was excellent, delivering hot water and good pressure. The bed itself was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The check in area is also connected to the bar. A nice touch was the complimentary drink card offered to each guest upon check in to use before check out. Additionally, the hotel’s location was perfect; within walking distance to many places we wanted to visit. Overall, I highly recommend this budget-friendly hotel.

Need more comfort

The furnishings were not very comfortable. There were wire rattan chairs without cushions where there should have been a sofa or chaise. There was no closet but hooks which is fine but they were all low. Not great for a jacket. It also wasn't right for a business trip.

Don't stay here

Room had no window - felt like I was staying in a coffin. Plus it smelt of damp. I stayed 4 nights and it got cleaned once - I had to use a damp towel for 3 nights. I got locked out of my room because the battery on the door lock died. The wi-fi didn't work. The area around the hotel was dangerous and there were people coming into the lobby who weren't guests. I have stayed in Moxy hotels before and loved them - this hotel does not deserve to be part of the Moxy brand or even the Marriott group.

Staff was excellent. Rooms not as pictured in Expedia. TOTALLY different. Room had HUGE empty space beside the bed. no table, no chair. Seriously NO CHAIR. Bathroom, bed & hooks on the wall to hang your clothes on. That's it. Expedia Ad said Restaurant & exercise facility. NO Restaurant or exercise facility. Room service is they'll order carryout for you and bring it to your room. It's geared toward 20-somethings on a limited budget. Construction across the street. Very noisy. Valet parking was excellent. Staff are great though! No worries there, very helpful.

Plus and minus

We were given a room with no windows. Just a tiny one in the bathroom. The room was pitch black without lighting, day or night. The pillows were very high. The lobby atmosphere was great, there is a small bar, seating, and a pool table. They gave us 2 free drink tickets when we checked in. Close enough to walk to Canal street, French quarter and the main library where you pick up the airport bus.

Horrible maid service it took them two days to come clean my room I stayed in and the last day before I left my room was half cleaned and my wife had to keep going to the desk with a complaint I highly wouldn’t recommend this place going forward

The walls and windows are way too thin for the location. I did not back up against the elevator, but yet could hear it all day and night. The doors slam and could be heard in our room from other guests. I could hear the outside as if we were in the lobby but we were on the 5th floor. There’s construction across the street and they would start at 6 am with constant beeping noises. The pillows are extremely too high, my neck was cricked in the morning. The good news that the location was great!
