Excellent choice for a stay in New Haven. In walking distance to many restaurants. The staff was very courteous.

The location is close to our daughter's dorm in Yale and close to many restaurants. We also like the breakfast in the top floor with wonderful view of Yale. But we are very disappointed with their Wi-Fi which is not free for paying guests. When we signed up their preferred customer program, the Wi-Fi became no internet connection. Very upset

It's very no-frills and plain. the first night I was there my air conditioner was broken and was leaking water onto the carpet. the room smelled of mold. the last night I was there the police were in the hotel. i don't know if a guest was robbed but they were in the hotel making a police report.

I was the one speaking to the police officer and no incident actually occurred. He is an officer who stops by frequently just to say hello. The Omni picture on your site is nothing like the hotel really is. The Omni is a run down facility that needs a total refurbishing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s terrible. Tks. Ron
