Great nice view could see ocean from the bed bed was comfortable things were clean only problem I had was the door lock code was too long had to have it opened for me a few times.

Quick trip to Myrtle Beach

Room and view and access to the beach were great. Our dogs were very welcome Both pools were extremely cold , not heated. This unit needs a new remote for the tv. Hot water was scarce. Overall it was a great value.

The location was perfect and close to everything with a beautiful beach view!! The ceiling definitely needs fixed above the bed, a new paint job in the bathroom particularly near the toilet & the sink gurgles! Very minor things but it didn’t affect our amazing week! More beach decor and color on the walls would make it super cute & welcoming!! Overall, a great stay!

Reason to Change

The room was clean smelling and just as it stated on internet. However, upon staying a day or two we found there was a leak in the hose on air conditioning unit on balcony that soaked the balcony. We also had an issue with sewage coming up into sink everyday at different times during the day. When contacting front desk about this issue they said it was ok and that it was happening in other rooms and we could still use the sink. Needless to say we did not use the sink and we had to keep rinsing it out with soap to help with the smell. We even took pictures if you would like to see them. Other than those two issues we enjoyed our stay. We definitely would not stay here again unless these two situations were resolved.

Heads up on what to bring with you to make life easy!

Kitchen utensils lacking..no measuring cups or spoons No pizza cutter or appropriate knife. No large bowls or strainers available. No coffee filters for the maker. The lid on the coffee pot was ill fitting and averted brewing catastrophe a couple times when it had moved from the correct position! Just little things that could easily be fixed. For the price it wasn’t a big deal for us! The balcony view was awesome. I had brought a camping rug to use on the beach and also put it on the balcony. Felt much nicer in our bare feet than the sprayed plastic beads that were used to cover the balcony floor surfaces. The tv operation is a joke. Even basic channels seem to be on a 30 minute preview requiring passwords to continue watching that station. Overall though, the low price was worth the small inconveniences and we would be back in the future. This review is meant as more of a heads up for the renter than any complaint on the room. 👍

Short Trip Enjoyed

We truly enjoyed the property. Our only complaint really is that some of the appliances need updating: for example, wall outlet covers were loose and the handle to the pan for the stove was loose and could fall off during cooking. The property is great with leaving you alone and allows pets. Conveniently located right at the beach. We had a great time with our dog. Good for families that want the amenities of a hotel/condo but don’t want to be bothered. For those traveling in the summer (May to Labor Day), it should be noted there are limitations to times of day pets can be on the beach. You also are not allowed anything but an umbrella for coverage, no sideways tents or cabanas during the heavy summer months. We didn’t know this coming so it is good to note for future trips.

Great view

Room was perfect for 2 adults with small dog. Nice little balcony to enjoy your coffee and the views. Bathroom could use a bit of an update but still a nice place to stay for a short trip.

The unit was essentially as advertised. Very clean upon arrival. Noticed a slight leak under the sin

for the bed. Not very attractive. The property itself is dated but very clean and the staff was very nice and attentive. Underground parking is very efficient, accessible, although when rain it did leak on two vehicles as well.

Perfect for a quick weekend away!

Decided to take a last minute road trip for a b-day weekend & the property didn't disappoint. We didn't need anything fancy but tried to find something that was on the beach, not sketchy, yet clean & affordable. We got all of that here & plan to check this place out first for future road trips. The bed was a little more firm than we're accustomed to but comfortable enough, the kitchenette was clean & had just enough space to make a meal for two. So glad there was no carpet & that the room itself seemed to be well maintained. The view from the balcony was peaceful & head enough space for one of us to do a morning yoga routine. It was a great stay overall & we can't wait for our next road trip here!

Perfect romantic get away

We had a wonderful, romantic weekend. The room was exactly as described and pictured. Iris in a good location very near Broadway at the Beach. The view of the ocean was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. I had no complaints at all.

Disappointing

The positives are the location- right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise and ocean view. Also it was generally quiet. The Negatives- Lobby should have been the first tip off- it is old and dirty. Room had a dirty floor, you could see the dirt and dust on it as we walked in. The bathroom had chipped places on the tub, around the fixtures and other spots, someone else’s hair all over the place, it needed to be painted, and there was a hole where the toilet pipe came out of the wall. The popcorn ceiling was falling down- especially two spots right over the bed! There were clearly other spots that were ready to peel away and fall too. The balcony was dirty and the rubber flooring was tearing apart and tracked into the room. The sliding glass door lock was broken and needed paint and repair. Lastly, the amount of visitors smoking marijuana was ridiculous. For a “No Smoking” facility, this was not enforced at all. There was a constant stench of marijuana, which shows me what kind of clientele are staying there. I would have liked to spend my vacation without that aspect. While we enjoyed our time away, every time I walked into the room I was greatly disappointed. For the money, I expected more. I took pictures if anyone is interested. The entire place needs renovating and I can’t believe a place with falling ceilings and exposed piping is allowed to stay open.

Some TLC would go a long way

The ceiling needs some paint, the bathroom sink stand could be spruced up. Moving the bed a bit could allow another piece of comfortable furniture and increase the enjoyment of the unit.

Nice place on the beach!

The staff was very nice and courteous. The facility looks like it could use a little make over. Leaky ceiling in the hall, a little unclean with sand and water everywhere. A turndown service would have been nice (maybe by request?). The room was very nice with a great balcony and view of the ocean. The outdoor pools were nice and well maintained. I loved that it was pet friendly. The property is walkable to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

Weekend getaway

The weather was perfect for the weekend. The ease of checking in was great. The room was exceptionally cleaned. The location was perfect and was no more than 20 minutes away from what we wanted to do.
