"Nice hotel. Small rooms"
Good halfway point between Oktoberfest and Marienplatz. A block away from train station. Rooms were small but clean. No refrigerator in room. Staff was all very nice. Bar tenders were great. Overall pleased with our stay.

"LOVED THIS HOTEL!"
Very friendly staff, great hot breakfast, Perfect location just around the corner form the Glockenspiel and the Munich Hofbräuhaus! Train fro the airport puts you two blocks from the front door and with wheels on your suitecase it is quite easy. There are also elevators and escalators (you just have to find them) for exiting the train station. Will definitely be staying here if I ever return to Munich.

"A holiday at the Munich Four Seasons."
The Vier Jahreszeiten is truly one of the great hotels of Europe. This was my second stay there, and I think was even nicer than my first stay over ten years ago. The property is clean, tastefully decorated, and located central to shopping and museums.. The staff was quick to respond with all requests, and they all spoke at least a bit of English, as did most of the shop clerks and waiters/waitresses. The breakfast buffet is a sight that must be seen to be believed; it spans two large rooms! Our only problem was my boyfriend was unable to schedule a massage while we were there.....apparently not enough time slots available. Overall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Munich.

"Nice hotel, well located"
Located in a few minutes walk from the Marienplatz. Very convenient to take the S8 or S1 from the airport and arrive in Marienplatz. From there it is an extremely doable walk (6 minutes) to the hotel. Showers were nice and hot and the beds were very comfortable. The room was a standard double and provides the basics. Not luxury though so you should consider a dorm room type of setting. One day we were leaving and the cleaning staff were actually cleaning the floor with brushes. Very clean and well maintained hotel! Wifi worked well and convenient EATLY market across the street and a Starbucks and little grocery 2 minutes away.

"Excellent Experience"
I accidentally had our scheduled dates for the hotel one night off. HUGE error on my part. It was Oktoberfest and when we realized the mistake I was fearful that we would not have anywhere to stay the initial night we arrived or would have to bunk with our friends in their room, if it were even allowed. The hotel front desk manager was AMAZING and went above and beyond for us. We had arrived very early in the morning and luckily we were able to still get a room without a reservation for that night. A very rare courtesy and one which we will remember always. After that initial positive impression of this hotel, we found the rooms spotless, with all amenities expected in a top rated hotel. The mini bar was well stocked with wine, beer, water and other goodies. The beds (mattress, pillows, duvets) were very comfortable. Because the hotel is set just a bit off the road, we did not hear any partying of the Oktoberfest returnees, nor a lot of street noise. We slept with the window open for the fresh air. The shower was very nice and had two options (either a showerhead or an overhead rain). You could set the temperature of the water digitally, which I thought was really cool. There were American-like towels and washrags. The bar staff was very courteous and they had extensive drink offerings and snacks. All and all an excellent experience. Also, only a 5 minute walk to the train station. We will be staying there again when we go back to the fest next year.
