It was an excellent room. However, we were traveling to Florida for recuperation at our daughter’s home. My husband was using a walker, and my back was “out”. The elevator was at the opposite end of the building from our room, and the luggage carts didn’t steer easily. It was a long and difficult walk. This has more to do with building design than anything controllable by staff.

ROBBED in the back parking Lot Just Like Others

Cons: SECURITY CAMERAS PLEASE
Wedding Robbery in Mt Vernon on 3/12/16 at the Quality Inn My wife and I were returning from my daughter’s wedding in Olney, staying at the Quality Inn in Mt Vernon. On the night of 3/11/16 the day of the wedding our car was broken into. They took our bridal gown, tux, other clothes and shoes, favorite Bible, camera gear and a laptop. The replacement value of all that was lost is nearly $8000. My wife has been crying on and off ever since because the worst things taken were our memories. The Bible and note book had over 10 years of recording by my wife of here Bible learning, the clothes were special from the wedding and the pictures and video of the beautiful wedding were just new on our hearts. We had such a happy day the day before seeing all our friends and relatives, now this tragedy. I was very disappointed with the phone call that finally came from management at Quality Inn 2 weeks later. He was not sympathetic or caring at all. The least I would have expected was a free night stay at any Quality Inn on a future trip. Signed disappointed
