This home was in immaculate condition when we arrived, so props to the cleaning crew! It had everything that we needed (my boyfriend, mini Aussie, and I) for our stay and is a really beautiful home. Although stated in the description, the bathroom situation is a bit odd. The upstairs bathroom only has a garden tub, in which the drain stopper would come loose every single time we used it. I would use the third floor bathroom while my boyfriend would have to walk all the way down to the first floor bathroom to use the shower. The center floor only has a half bath. Also, the hot water tank must be small because we would run out of hot water very quickly. We walked up and down stairs so much during our stay, it became tiresome. There are roughly 20 or so steps to take just to get into the house from the back where you park, which I don't believe is stated in the description. Some of the roads to get to this home are unpaved and VERY scary the first time you go up and down. I'd like to say it gets better, but it also rained during our stay which made us worried we might slide unnecessarily. That might seem strange to someone else but we are from flat land Louisiana LOL. All in all, this is a really nice home for a pair of couples to stay in, but the home’s layout—especially the stairs—and the surrounding roads (which is no fault of the owner!) didn’t suit our preferences, so we wouldn’t choose to stay there again.
