The room we were initially placed in was quite large with a King Bed and Sleeper Sofa. It didn’t have a combination Bathtub/Sower as we had wanted.
I spoke with the young man at the front desk and informed him what we needed and believed had requested. He informed me that they didn’t have any Tub/Shower Combo rooms with a King. He indicated that the reservation was placed through Travelocity and the discrepancy was Travelocity's responsibility.
I went to our room and did web search for Hampton Inn site. It clearly identified property did have King with Tub/Shower Combo. I went back to the front desk and spoke with the young man and again he said "As I told you previously the mistake is with Travelocity's website and you will need to follow-up with them. If the reservation had been made through our website, this wouldn't have happened." I them showed him my phone with website pulled up. "I see sir. Where do you see the Tub/Shower Combo?" I pointed out the picture and words on the site. He continued to present as dismissive and contentious. He assured me that he would report this to his manager.
The following morning i spoke with the manager. She informed me that they didn’t have rooms with King and Tub/Shower Combo. She agreed to switch us to a room with a tub/shower combination, if available in afternoon. That afternoon would were assigned a double queen with Tub/Shower Combo.
Facility was nice, with clean rooms and good breakfast.
