A very disappointing stay due to the rental company, My Vacation Haven. This property is well stocked with comfortable furniture but that’s where the positive ends. The grill and golf cart were not as pictured. Grill was filthy on arrival and we had to burn off left over fat/grease for 45 mins before we were willing to cook food on it. The sticker for the golf cart gate into Grand Blvd does not work to let you back onto Sandestin property. We attempted to rectify this with MVH and SOA. The sticker on the cart was changed and we were told by a MVH employee that the windshield was recently changed on the cart for 1200 and the gate sticker was switched out. The new sticker never worked and I was told to just continue investigating the issue with SOA myself. I didn’t waste vacation time doing that. The living room TV was stuck on Fox News. When I called I was told there was a cable outage in the area. Customer service for MVH never called again to follow up on the issue. We found several days later that the cable receiver for the living room TV was stuck behind furniture. Imagine our surprise when we got home and were charged 65 for a new windshield wiper on the golf cart. It was never damaged and we left it as we found it. Sounds like MVH recouping 1200 lost prior to our visit. We will not rent a MVH property again. Twice I have rented from this company and both properties were for sale during that time. Both properties seemed forgotten due to being sold.

Great Bungalo!

Bungalos 2495 was clean, and the perfect size for our family of five and two small dogs. The golf cart was awesome - we drove it almost exclusively once we arrived. Neighborhood was quiet and cute. Overall, one of the best beach stays we have had!

Rainey Vacation

It seemed to rain all week but we enjoyed the house we rented. We grilled out on the grill, we cooked in the kitchen. And all appliances worked properly. When the sun peeked out we ran to the beach but ended up spending a lot of time at the house. The house was very comfortable and a pleasant neighborhood to spend a Rainey week.

Great home and location!

The house was beautiful, great space for our family of 5. We loved having the golf cart to take to the beach, dinner and shopping. The community was beautiful and the Bungalows part of the neighborhood (where the house is) has its own pool within walking distance which was nice. Was also helpful to have access to beach umbrellas and chairs since that can get expensive if you pay for it at the beach. Overall we enjoyed the house and the owners were easy to work with!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here while our daughter was playing softball nationals. It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Destin/Okaloosa. Unfortunately, we had to pass through for the fields & activities which is a huge nightmare in terms of traffic. The beach is a bit of a haul on the golf cart & it seemed to be very limited access unless you were staying at the Hilton or reserved chairs through the Sanderson resort. We mostly went to the beach late afternoon and early evening when all of those spots were cleared away but on our last day, we were shocked at how incredibly crowded it was & we could hardly find any place for our 4 chairs. One of the red beach chairs was broken but the blue ones were just fine. The area just behind the resort that had the Publix was very convenient with the golf cart. Great shops, dining and entertainment options. We preferred that over the Baytown wharf area. But absolutely loved the convenience of getting around on the golf cart! We had a tough time initially with the golf cart but figured out the break sticks. So after you release the break, you have to lift up on it a little bit so it recognizes it’s out of park. The house was a perfect set up for us & our two teenagers. The beds were so comfortable. We were expecting a few more kitchen items (cooking spray, salt/pepper, muffin pan) but it was no big deal! We actually bought a muffin pan to leave behind. The kitchen/bathroom starter packs were great. Would definitely book again!!!

The propery was great!! It would be nice to have more check in instructions. We arrived at 4am to find there was a code needed to enter the gate. Unknown to us there was another entrance. We called customer service and the young lady was very helpful and didn't stop until she found d the code to the gate. Other than that issue everything else was great.

Great location and golf cart

Overall very happy with our stay. The place has a great location and nice golf cart that is convenient to get around. Everything was clean except the tile floor in the kitchen and main area. We noticed our feet were black within minutes of being there and you could see the grout stained black. We were very disappointed in the communication with property management. I sent an email on arrival about the issue and still have not received any response. We ended up buying tile cleaner and mopping it ourselves.

In our opinion, this is the best floor plan of the 3 options in the Bungalos. The unit is well laid out, and the large porch is a great amenity. We enjoyed the property so much, we decided to extend our rental another day. We highly recommend this property, and hope to stay here again next year.

Great Family Trip for Spring Break

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our spring break getaway at this property. Everything was clean, neat, and exactly as represented in the listing. The pool chairs were great and the kitchen was stocked with all the gear we needed. The location was ideal; close to all the action while providing a quiet, relaxing home base to restore and recharge. Loved the heated pool and putting green just steps away in the Bungalos neighborhood. The golf cart made it especially convenient to navigate the Sandestin property, and we were able to fill multiple days without leaving Sandestin's grounds. Most days we can't get our kids to agree that the sky is blue, but at the end of this trip they agreed it was a delight and neither of them wanted to go. We would be thrilled to stay here again.

San Destin 2023

House was great! The pillows were too stiff and full for me, it would be nice to have a softer, thinner pillow option. Need more hangers. the beach chairs were not there upon arrival but were provided when i asked. The dishwasher did not work but they fixed right away. I would think about replacing the carpet soon.The air and heat were a bit confusing to control but overall we loved the place!

Golf cart issue made stay disappointing

We have stayed in this home previously so we were happy to rebook. Upon check in the golf cart appeared to have an issue with the back tire and the key was missing. We contacted the property manager who’s response was that an issue was discovered and the cart would be picked up. We specifically book in Sandestin and the Bungalos for a golf cart as it makes the stay so enjoyable. The property manager pointed out there is a shuttle on property… In looking at reviews it appears ongoing issues which I should have noticed as other properties were open.

Broken gulf cart again!!!!

The place it self was amazing. Love the location and the pool. But for the last three times we've stayed at Sandestin. We have not been able to use the Gulf Cart's. So I was not very happy.

Can't wait to come back!

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly pleased. The place is so much nicer than the pictures☺️. There was plenty of room for our 3 active teenagers. We especially loves the screened in patio equipped with dining table and seating. Family Get-away before college starts

The bungalow was spacious and clean. We enjoyed it very munch. Other than the dishwasher starting on its own and the master bed being too high for my wife without a step stool, it was perfect!

Destin getaway

The property was nice overall. Having the golf cart made the stay very easy and enjoyable. We only used our car twice. The property does need some maintenance and the cleanliness was subpar. I would stay again.

Loved the porch!!

House was wonderful. We loved the porch. We had small problem with golf cart. But we made it work. Sandestin was a very fun resort.

Never wanted to leave!

We stay in this neighborhood every year and this has been one of the best houses we stayed in! It was clean and had lots of GOOD beach gear and the house had everything we needed. We loved it!!

Great for families

Location and golf cart were fantastic. Never drove our car. The beach was very easy to get to. We loved the open floor plan and the kitchen was very well equipped. Will book again soon. Loved it.
