The hotel smelled awful. The carpet was nasty. The staff that checked us in was not personable. The bathroom tile had black mold. You can tell they don’t do thorough cleaning. From now on Hilton or Marriott only. I will book directly with the hotel. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Never again.

The room itself was clean and spacious, but not 4+ star worthy. The biggest complaint, is I had to get my room card reactivated 3 times over 3 days. It felt like it would deactivate if I used it once. Traveling for business for 50% of the year, this was a first for me. It's also an inexpensive location, which means it's very busy. There were times where I had to wait to get any assistance. But if you're in town for a day with no frills expectations, then this is a good option.

The shower was a big disappointment. The showerhead is fixed to the wall at about 4'. It makes it very difficult to shower the upper half of your body/head if you're over 4' tall. Breakfast was good. It would be nice if your restaurant/bar opened a little earlier and had signage that is consistent. OOpening at 5 or 5:30
