"We found this proper to be stunning and very cool historically. Some reviews say the hotel is old, which they are not wrong in the fact that this building is hundreds of years old. But I didn’t find the rooms to be rundown or dingy, just old in a historical way. Our room was very nice and had a window looking out to the street where we got to watch a lot of calendas go by which we loved. Being on the street side you could definitely hear some noise from the street below, but it wasn’t enough to disturb us. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming. They were constantly making sure we had what we needed and answering our questions. I would definitely stay here again! "

"Convenient location to centro zocalo. Permitted a check-in just after midnight; other hotels would not. Property although older was clean and everything in my room worked. That said I did not use the TV. Staff were pleasant and professional. I was able to store my luggage at front desk until my later departure after check out. Area around hotel seemed safe and walkable. That said is quite busy and vendors can be slightly agressive in sales attempts. "
