There were adults and children running and yelling in halls from 1pm to 130 am. There was an additional party of 40 teens in 1 room that caused additional yelling. Staff and security couldnt get it under control.

The staff was unprofessional. The reserved we room on Travelocity was 1/2 the price of what the hotel charged when I checked out. Something about this process has some serious errors in it and We want our money back

Checked in and key did not work for the room so had to get another key and once i got in the room their was no running water so had to change rooms

Melville Marriott was nice and the location was very peaceful. It would be great if there was a restaurant within walking distance especially for the elderly, I know that is out of the control of the hotel. My stay was short but wished I could of enjoyed the restaurants within that area. I went to the Melville mall by the hotel shuttle which was nice and timely What put the icing on the cake was our last day there whilst we were waiting for our ride to the airport, a lady (sorry I can’t recall the name) stopped and talked to us. She asked where we were from which is Bermuda, only to find out that she had visited island which was a pleasant surprise. I was a bit taken back with some of the services but thought maybe this is a business oriented and may not be designed for elderly people. My parent did enjoy themselves however they will need someone with them. All in all I think I would revisit another time

Centrally located big name hotel

Spent a night here with my wife and children. Everything was typical for a Marriot hotel and the staff was very helpful. Probably better suited for a business stay it does have a pool. My two year old had no complaints. My only gripe was having to go down two floors to find a vending machine with water.

No more than a three star Marriot

The food is poor. The service atht eh bar/restaurant was extremely slow. The elevator look very beat up. The rooms are average. This value for the price is not great.

Is this really a Marriott?

I was very disappointed by this hotel. Although they are remodeling the rooms, they still need alot of work. Some rooms do not have working internet, toilets do not flush, showers do not drain, doors do not shut properly, etc.\n\nThe meetings rooms were very noisy and they had a hard time getting a comfortable temperature (too hot or too cold). The food was boring\n\nMy team has decided to look for a new hotel for the future.
