Parador De Melilla
"We had a flight cancellation and messaged the hotel via hotels.com to inform them that we would be arriving the next day and not to cancel our booking. When we arrived the man on reception spoke no English and we were lucky to have our daughter to translate. He offered us a room (not as good as the one we booked). We were then charged again as he said they had not received the money from Hotels.com. The swimming pools were closed for maintenance. The only room they could offer was in the basement, the bathroom was scruffy and in need of maintenance and the room was stinking of cigarettes. The hotel was very dated. We didn’t stay the night and asked for a full refund. Very disappointed. "
