We stayed here intending to hike in the Allegheny National Forest. We didn't realize that the hikes we planned to take were many miles north of the hotel, and there is practically no place to eat in Marienville. The hotel provides a decent breakfast, but we ate lunch in Kane and bought our "dinner" from a gas station quick-mart. Luckily, our room had a microwave. We could hear the people in the room next to us, and the shower had almost no decent water pressure. The water poured out of the bath faucet, but when we pulled the knob for the shower head, it was extremely weak. The room was a good size and had a table with two chairs. The two people who worked at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

The price was right, <$100. Based on cost and location we weren't expecting much. Parking lot was dirt and gravel. But we were in back woods, cottage area area. Very far off I-80 , Saturday nite, and desperate for a place to sleep. VERY quiet. Almost scary. Very spartan accommodations and very clean. For those that like to camp, this is a 5 star
