Beautiful, charming, very comfortable room, clean. great location, good breakfast. Cute coffee shop, upscale restaurant, retro restaurant, and local bookstore are a short walk from this hotel. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel but had a couple turn offs.

Pros: Hotel was new and very nice. Although bathroom door was not hung correctly so it didn't close correctly, the trim work was very nice.
Cons: Went to use coffee cups in the room which the cleaning staff had set paper covers on and found lipstick on both cups! Was still greasy and actually had lipstick on my hand. Yuck! Also wastebasket in bathroom had not been emptied and had Kleenexs with blood on them
Location: Location was fine. 20 miles away from Mohican state park.

Great addition to small town

Pros: Everything.
Cons: The price could be a little lower.
Location: The hotel is in Mt. Vernon, Ohio where Nazerene University is located. Kenyon College is near by in Gambier, Ohio.
The hotel was just opened this year and is quite nice. The beds are so comfortable. We especially liked the walk-in shower. The decor in the public areas is designed to be somewhat like Mt. Vernon, home of George Washington. Breakfast is provided free to guests and is a level above most as China plates and silverware are used rather than paper and plastic products. Even though the hotel is located on the public square, it was very quiet.
