"Room was perfect, very clean, lovely warm radiators, mountain views. Breakfast was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful. Pretty building and decor, toiletries included. Powerful hot shower. Comfortable bed. A minute or so from the lake, perfect position. 8 minutes walk from train station. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. "

"Amazing team, the restaurants were exceptional as well as the breakfast with so many options and the rooms and attention was the best we ever had. They clean our room every two hours amazing service. Every activity you want to do on the lake they organized for you and they are very professional and communicative. The staff js friendly and make your stay memorable. The rooms are big and comfortable and brand new. We stayed for our honeymoon and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Villa Lario for making our honeymoon the best moment ever. They even plan a romantic night for us. "

"We had the best week in this house. The pool the outdoor seating area and the layout of the house was suit our needed and it was a perfect house for us 6 adults and 2 kids. With restaurant only a 10 minute walk away and public transport close by it was a great location. The host shared a local taxi man’s details and he was fantastic and brought us to fantastic places that we’re a ‘must visit’ on lake Como that was not as easy to access via public transport. We will be back and recommending to friends.One last note, we asked could we check in early and the response was ‘not a problem’ it’s so great when a host is happy to accommodate. "

"We arrived late, tired from a long drive, only to enter a room that had no air condition! When we opened the windows, heavy traffic noise echoed in; lots of obnoxious motorcycles speeding. The bathroom smelled of urine, the shower walls are full of mold, upper bunk mattress sunk, furniture parts were falling off. Because it was so hot in the room, the four of us couldn’t sleep for more than a couple of hours. We asked for a fan and they said they don’t have any. The only benefit was free parking across the street. Tried to reach the hotel manager at 11:30 AM and he said that he’ll get back to me after 4 PM to which he never got back to me. Horrible, horrible dump of a hotel, stupid management (owner?) response. Couldn’t wait to get out of the hell hole. I waited til last moment, hence the poor judgement in reserving this crap of a so called hotel. "
