There was no shampoo, no hair dryer, no coffee maker. The room and the hotel smelled of smoke. The TV was not working. Later someone came up to fix it. Can't recommend it.

With our Woodspring brand, we keep your cost down, but having a simple room. We do offer shampoo at the front desk if you ask for it. WoodSpring Suites Manassas Battlefield Park I-66, Manassas April 2021 I arrived at the hotel at 7PM. There was no one at the front desk nor any instructions as to what to do. I spent 25 minutes waiting and yelling HELLO over and over. The person did apologize. My reservation was supposed to be a handicap room but it was not and there were known available. There is no ice maker in the hotel. The luggage cart had something wrong with it and it was very hard to get my stuff to the room. The entire time I was there no one brought clean towels or took out the trash or anything. 3 separate times my card key would not work thankfully now there was at least a sign at the front desk with a number to call. My TV would not work properly. Screen stated to call front desk. I went to the room phone and it did not work. I called the number I had called to get access keys and someone came up. They tried a few things then said they could not fix it and just left.

My “Reservation” was taken

After driving two hours to the hotel that I booked 3 days prior, I was told that there “weren’t any rooms left” . Not only did this make me scramble and pay 3x as much for a hotel because I’m booking same-day, but it made me late to the concert I had planned. How can you take reservations if the room isn’t even available?! Did they just give my room to someone else?? Extremely disappointed and won’t be booking with them again. Overpaid my stay that night because someone messed up.

Travelocity and a deminished experience

So to start off with I was called two days before we were traveling to be told the hotel was overbooked. It was first come first serve. This with the reservation I made through Travelocity. It was blamed on Travelocity by the hotel. The additional stress having to leave so early was no fun. We did get a room. It smelled of mothballs and chemical. We had the window open on a 95 degree day. It sucked we had to sleep with the window open to breathe. It was not a good experience all around.
