We did not want to leave the Oak & Oar Camphouse! It was such a blast and we were amazed with the property and the activities for both adults and kiddos to enjoy. The rec room with a big hit for everyone. It was very spacious both inside and outside and there were SO many things to do. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and fun for all.

Cabin and property were nice. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen shelving was labeled and there was plenty to cook with. Rec room was a lot of fun! Lots of TVs with streaming services you can log into if that's something you want. Some things we wish we knew: -the pond is not swimmable. It's not clear on the listing and the hosts told us it would be, but it was largely covered in algae and there's actually a "No Swimming" sign posted. -it's about half an hour drive to any of the Hocking Hills hikes.-while the property is overall kid-friendly, all of the cups and dishes were glass or ceramic. Which our kids are old enough it worked out ok, but if they were any younger I would have been nervous about them accidentally breaking something.Overall good place.
