"Overall, the hotel was nice. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and I appreciated the community umbrellas available for the unpredictable rain. My biggest complaint was the bathroom setup. The toilet paper dispenser was positioned behind the toilet, making it frustratingly difficult to reach. The paper came out in thin, pre-cut sheets, so getting enough for a proper wipe was annoying. The bidet was fun to try, but the toilet paper fell apart when cleaning up afterward. Maybe I simply don’t know how to use a bidet properly, but the combination of the dispenser placement and thin paper was terrible. The hotel also placed clear plastic sandals at the bathroom entrance every day. They may have been sanitized, but they looked like reusable sandals worn by every previous guest, so I wasn’t comfortable using them. Dinner was okay. Only one side of the buffet was open, but there was also a ramen station where an attendant boiled the noodles. I didn’t try it because the process wasn’t clear. Free Heineken was available from a keg if you arrived early enough. The lobby snack bar had a good selection. However, children were serving themselves from the ice cream station, which made me question how sanitary it was. The other snacks appeared cleaner and were enjoyable."

"We stayed at Airline Inn from 13 Aug 2026 - 16 Aug 2026. We would like to commend the staff at the breakfast restaurant. They were kind and thoughtful. I am a vegetarian, and having told the servers about this, they made it a point every breakfast for the three days we stayed there to show me what were vegetarian among the breakfast spread. One server even told me if I wished, they could arrange to cook a vegetarian noodle or rice dish for me. I was so grateful. The hotel also has a laundry room - two washing machines and two dryers. This should be helpful to travellers but for the dismal state of the washing machine. Both the machines were very dirty, so we did not dare to wash our clothes in them. Another suggestion: Perhaps the hotel can consider setting up a small eating area. There is a comfortable lounge with low sofas. This is not convenient for having small meals. We travel as a group of four and would like to eat some food we bought together. Our rooms are too small to eat together. The hotel staff very kindly said we can eat at the lounge tables, but it was really uncomfortable. All said, we still find that it was value for money staying in Airline Inn Kaohsiung."

"This is one of the nicer budget hotels I've stayed at in Kaohsiung. The bed was very comfortable. There was great water pressure in the shower. The AC was strong. The building was very quiet. There was ample space for two people to share the room comfortably. The bathroom lacks an exhaust fan to support ventilation, and the bedroom needs another small table or a luggage rack so that you don't need to put everything on the floor. I would also suggest the hotel reconsider it's overstay fee. NT$200 per hour is not affordable or sensible for visitors who are staying multiple days. We would have extended our stay for a few hours if the price was more reasonable. Also, not necessarily the hotel's problem, but the lobby of the building is quite dirt and smelly. Once you get to the hotel's floor, everything is fine. The location is great. It is a short walk from both the Red MRT line and the Green Light Rail. 7-11 and Family Mart are on either side of the hotel building. You couldn't ask for a better location. Overall, this is a great choice for budget-friendly travelers. I will definitely stay here again!"
