The property was conveniently located. The pool area was not maintained very well. Lot’s of people, kids with food and trash. Couldn’t find a seat at 10:30 in the morning.

The elevators are a mess during peak times. Expect 15 minutes or more waiting during check out time. They also need to be clear about the accessibility of comps (bike rentals are available between 8am - 8pm only). Understandable but wish it was stated on the ticket.

Great stay! This hotel has variety of amenities available to its guests. Most things are within walking distance or if you just want a relaxing stay, the pool is a great place to hang out.

I really liked the location—being able to walk to Seaport Village, the USS Midway, Petco Park, and the entire Gaslamp area was a big plus. The pool looked nice, though my trip was short and I didn’t get a chance to swim. The gym was also very well-equipped. My room had a partial ocean and city view, which was great. It was quiet the first night, but the second night I heard some banging from the room above. A couple of small room-related issues: the refrigerator was noisy at night, and the bathroom light automatically turned on when entering—which isn’t ideal when you get up during the night. Bed was good. The restaurants on-site were expensive and didn’t offer many gluten-free options. I also wasn’t thrilled about the resort fees—I don’t travel often, so I forget how quickly all those extras add up.

Loud people in room next door and I called security at 10:30pm and 2:30 am and they didn’t stop the people I. Room from disturbing our sleep. I talked with manager at Marriott and he didn’t do anything to help us.
