Great hotel with some caveats.

Pros: Beautiful and convenient.
Cons: Managers need to talk out service issues.
Location: This is right next to City Center, Vdara, Aria and close to Bellagio.. a great location with tons of great expensive restaurants.
This is a great hotel. Meals, including breakfast, however are VERY expensive. It is one of the best service hotels I have ever stayed at, but expect a high charge for everything. IE: they charged $10 for receiving a small box that we picked up at the Bell Desk. I am not talking a TIP, I am talking a service charge. My biggest concern however isn't the hotel, it is buying nights pre-paid through Travelocity. We rented 3 rooms. One of the rooms needed to leave a day early. Even with ample notice, they would not allow us to extend our stay in another room one night with a night credit from vacating the room.. Because of their lack of cooperation, we will never stay at another Mandarin hotel. Such fine customer service puncuated by total lack of consideration of our needs.

A Beautiful Experience

Pros: The atmosphere was so calm and soothing. We could have just stayed in the room and still had a great time.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Location: We were in the heart of the Vegas strip...so we were near the casinos, mall and restaurants.
The most fun, yet relaxing vacation I have ever experienced. The advertisement of this hotel was not exagerated. This hotel was beuatiful! The atmosphere was calm and soothing....the decor was fabulous and the staff was very kind and accomodating. We felt like royalty!!

Beautiful hotel, peaceful and quiet escape.

Pros: High quality design, beautiful finishings, beautiful views, very friendly, helpful and courteous staff.
Cons: Room electronics, elevators.
PROS: Overall the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There was a mistake on our bill and they erased it without any friction whatsoever. The vibe of the hotel is elegant, tranquil and quiet, and if you're looking for a respite from the sounds/lights/noise, its a great escape. Our view of the strip was also awesome. CONS: The touchscreen device that controls the room was annoying — sifting through menus to control stuff in the room is hard to do when half-asleep —and the physical controls on the walls didn't seem to work well with the control device. It was honestly hard to turn the lights on and off. Simpler would be better here. The temperature controls didn't seem to be working right in our room (kept getting too hot even though we set it to 66), but this could have been isolated to our room. As other folks have mentioned, after a few trips, the two-elevator thing gets in the way. I kept getting to the elevator from the room and instinctively pushed the down button, but you actually need to go up to the 23rd floor lobby first on the 'internal' elevator, then get on the 'external' elevator to go down. Stepped in the wrong elevator a couple times. Its a simple thing, but can hard to remember if you're easily distracted. Not the best usability. I enjoyed my experience overall, but will probably not stay there again.

There is not a more Luxurios Hotel in Las Vegas

I have been going to Vegas for the Past 20 years and stayed in Great Hotels such as The Hotel,The Four Seasons,Wynn (both Towers) Venetian (both Towers) and all the other 5 star hotels. Not one of them hold a candle to the Mandarin!! Their service is two steps up from what I thought any other hotel had. The Rooms are Very clean,Quiet and peaceful. There is no casino but thats what I want when it is time to relax or go to bed.

Quiet luxury on the strip

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Located in city center without a casino is a great alternative for quiet times in a energetic city. With the fervor of las Vegas minutes away great for downtime.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Las Vegas

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast, no breakfast buffet just itemized menu
High quality of interior supported by very friendly staff. Only negative is a poor breakfast, in this category I'd expect full breakfast buffet instead we had been provided with the itemized menu with high price for every item. Even caffe latte was priced separately and also waiting time was too long just for a couple of eggs I should wait 15 minutes.

Great quiet hotel in Las Vegas

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
If you are looking for an island of calmness in the madness of Las Vegas, this is it. No cues, no casinos, no crowds. This is the way it should be, you go out for fun (the hotel is on the strip), but when you want to relax you come back to a homey atmosphere of this hotel.
