Fist off the staff was rude and unhelpful. The breakfast was horrible and they were reusing old gravy for their breakfast. The rooms were worn down. Sheets and blankets dirty and stains on sheets. We were in town for an event. Left for the event and came back and our room door was wide open!! Went straight downstairs ask for a manager to speak to and they said no manager was available. That he has to be called in and won’t be in until the next day. So I called the next morning to ask when he was going to be at the hotel. The woman at the desk told me he wasn’t and then I told her the situation and she said there was no note or anything from the staff the night before. She said she would review camera and give me a call. She never called me back never heard from the manager nothing. I will be calling corporate. Such a horrible experience!! Never stay here!!

I stayed here for 2 nights and the room itself was okay. Old and outdated but not awful. The outside of the property was pretty unkept with overgrown weeds and trash. But I could live with all of that since I got a pretty reasonable rate on the room. Here is the problem - I had to pay a $100 deposit on the room and chose to use my credit card. They said it would be refunded after checkout if not damage to the room. I checked out a month ago and still don't have my deposit back. I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk person about 2 weeks after checking out and they said it had been refunded but I don't have it!! I hate to say anything bad about people, but the people working here seem very clueless. I contacted the corporate customer care center today and all they did was file a report directly to the hotel in Lakeland so I have very little hope that this will be resolved. This is bad customer service and coming from a property that is not all that great to begin with, its not something I can overlook. Beware!!
