Wonderful all around!

Our stay was perfect! The hosts have thought of everything and the cabin is perfectly located and very clean. They leave a bunch of great recommendations of things to do in town and the cabin itself is just great to spend time at. Will definitely visit again!

What a beautiful place

My favorite place and so relaxing and the beds slept so good. The hot tub was amazing. Also a beautiful view. This place is so worth it.

Great Cabin

Loved staying at the log cabin. The views are very nice. The cabin was extremely clean, has a fully stocked kitchen, wonderful comfortable beds and sheets, nice decks in the back, & is well maintained home. Defintely recommend this cabin.

Great house and so comfortable

It was truly a wonderful weekend that ended with a winter wonderland of approximately 10 inches of snow. Bed was extra comfy, the fireplace was warm and beautiful and so roomy for us and our pup pup. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Place & Location

We could not have found a better place. Lodging was perfect. Although with plenty of trees, we had an unobstructed view of the Northern mountains and cliffs. Easily situated; 4 minutes to downtown Lake Lure, 9 minutes to Chimney Rock, and 5 minutes in the opposite direction the grocery store. Wonderful place to stay.

Peaceful cozy cabin

A little slice of heaven in the NC mountains. Perfect getaway spot. Quiet location - but convenient to town. Great motorcycle rides on the mountain roads. We will definitely be back in the Fall so we can use the cool fire pit!

Relaxing and tranquil cabin with all the comforts of being home. Great location....easy access to anything you want to do in Lake Lure or Chimney Rock. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to any small group. The home was clean and decorated lovely.

Beautiful cabin and great location!

This cabin is beautiful and exactly like the pictures! It’s so welcoming and clean. The owners were so thoughtful with each detail and even had a bag of goodies so we could make s’mores :) it has great Mountain View’s but so close to the town of lake lure. I highly recommend them and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Relaxing, beautiful getaway

Loved the cabin and the property - whether we were sitting outside in one of the three different deck spaces or enjoying time inside the cabin - the views were magnificent and relaxing. It was fun to explore Lake Lure and the surrounding area too - We enjoyed hiking at Chimney Rock Park and relaxing with some wine and cheese at Point Lookout Vineyard - and everything in between. Highly recommend this property to anyone interested in high end accommodations in a beautiful setting.

Even better than the pictures

Man, this place absolutely blew us away. It’s even better than the pictures! From the location, to the amenities (hot tub & fire pit), to the cleanliness of the property. Idyllic

Idyllic weekend combining the best of both worlds. Mountain view was stunning from an upscale cabin that was well appointed with lots of personal touches. Enjoyed everything local with day trips to Asheville, less than an hour away. Great communication from owner. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin, great scenic view, lots nearby to enjoy

Loved staying at this perfectly decorated, clean, and comfortable cabin.. The space was ideal for up to four adults and it was truly wonderful that I didn't have to leave my dog behind on this trip. Mike and Cate were available to answer any questions when needed and their home is conveniently located to many nearby activities and sights.. I highly recommend this property and would definitely return because it's so special.

My husband and I just spent 5 nights at Lure of the Woods, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot. Gorgeous home with spectacular views. Mike and Cate go above and beyond with every detail. 5+stars!!
