Overall it's fine. They charge a fee for pet which I didn't know during the booking process, so unprepared for that. Wish this charge shows up during booking, not only for this hotel but all pet friendly hotels.

Good location, perfect for pet owners.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, location
This hotel is perfect for those who want a clean and convenient place to relax in the lakes region. WE were only there one nite, on our way to take my son to camp, but we had a great king sized bed and sofa bed (i was with my two teenagers). WE also had our new puppy along and the staff could not have been friendlier and more welcoming, after a long car ride they greeted us with treats for the dog and mints by the front counter. Check in was a breeze as well and the grounds had plenty of spots to walk my dog. There was a kitchen area we did not use except for the fridge to keep water cold but I would go stay again since this was the nicest chain hotel i have found in the area. Good value, right off the byway that takes you up to Weirs Beach and Meredith, which is where we had to end up the next morning.

Bike Week 2010

My wife and I recently stayed at the TownePlace Suites in Gilford, NH. Let me start by saying that the place was extremely conveniently located within 5-10 miles of just about all the local attractions. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and were treated like we were part of the family they seem to have there. Having not been in the area before, it was nice to have plenty of options recommended by the front desk associates. They have a great area map next to the front desk so locations are easy to find, and they even had direction cards to some local restaurants and other attractions. Overall, very nice place to stay. I will most definitely be back in 2011, and look forward to staying with them again. Thanks for such a great experience.

Great Place to stay

My family and i had recently stayed there, and it was a very comfortable experience. The staff was extremley friendly and we were treated like family. I love this hotel it was awesome.. we will definitely be back
