A lovely hotel and surrounding buildings. Lovely food and dining, brilliant staff and wonderful outside walks. My only gripe is that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and that breakfast service didn’t start until 8 which was too late.

I would have preferred if you had told me that you were doing construction everywhere before I booked TWO rooms for 4 adults. Noisy flapping white tarps and ZERO views from any of the windows of BOTH rooms I rented.

I was disappointed. As a former resident of Kongsvinger I happen to know that this used to be the very best Hotel in the town. It can now only be described as 'tired'.
