We arrived and found that the property was immaculate. We were forewarned about some trouble with the sliding glass door (which was very hard to open) and told the repairs were scheduled for after our stay - this did not prevent us from hanging out on patio in the morning or afternoon. I would note that this is a shaded patio that doesn't get any direct sun so you don't have to worry about getting too much sun exposure. I found the shade and outdoor mornings quite pleasant. The air conditioner in the main living space effectively cools the living/kitchen area. The property is literally across the street from a nice beach and it was easy to just cross and hang out. One day it was quite windy and we were being blasted by sand so we hung out at the pool - the short walls nicely blocked the wind. I was very pleasantly surprised at the very nice condition of the single stall ladies toilet at the pool - it was exceptionally clean and well stocked. A couple of callouts for the property: we shared with the management company that all the handles on all the cookware were loose and needed to be tightened - you don't want the handle falling of the pan when you're cooking eggs or whatever. They said they would mention it to the property owners. The air conditioning doesn't reach the bedrooms. A couple of oscillating fans (in addition to the ceiling fans) would be appreciated. Close to everything in Kihei - except for our drive to the craft fair in Lahaina.
