"Hale Maluhia" - Cottage with expansive ocean views in central Kailua Kona.

Enjoy our hosted private 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom accommodations. Beautifully detailed with a king size bed, tv, wireless internet, laundry, closet, and large covered lanai. Everything my mom needs for her month long stays with our family!

The large lanai (covered deck) has 2 outdoor seating areas including a BBQ, dining table and chairs. Cool breezes in the evening make it the perfect place to enjoy an ocean view sunset.

This bedroom was built next to our house for my mother to stay several times a year. The details are exquisite; from granite or Koa countertops and shelves, to antique Indonesian doors and artwork by local artists. You will experience Hawaii in its beauty!

The location on our property has gorgeous views of the sweeping valley below all the way to the ocean. It is surrounded by lush greenery and is only minutes to Kailua Kona town or historic Holualoa.

We welcome you to this peaceful place to enjoy Hawaii.

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! The view was spectacular and the back deck was perfect for meals, working or just relaxing. It was great to stay in a neighborhood a little bit away from the main resorts and hotels. Owner was very kind to let us check in early due to a flight change too. We would definitely return!

Great place to stay on the Big Island

My wife and I loved this place. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is easily accessible in the hills just above Kona with a beautiful view from the lanai. Very homey and just the right size for two people. If we someday return to the Big Island this is where we would stay.

The cottage is modern and very cute, and it had all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect! It feels quiet and has great views, but is just minutes away from shops and restaurants. The owner was quick to respond to any questions, although during the stay, we really didn’t have any questions, because we had everything we needed. I highly recommend!

Great place for two

The property was clean and had high quality finishes. We stayed for 6 nights and it worked out great. It’s away from the main drag so you get the quiet and privacy but close enough that you can be in Kona in a few minutes drive. Esther was great, good communication and very helpful with questions.
