"House is situated right on the lake. The views from inside and outside are gorgeous. Was such a beautiful location to sit and relax. It’s a steep and curvy drive to get to the house. Will take a good 15 mins to just get from the main road to the house so we only left or came back during daylight. House is cozy and stocked with everything you need. Host super responsive and helpful. Downstairs is cold in the winter because of the big windows, a fire was nice down there. Try to park at the top of the gravel driveway because the gravel is steep and hard to get out of. Little challenging for unloading. Overall it was a fantastic stay! "

"I gather with a large group of family every year for Thanksgiving, always in a rented house so that no one feels like the host. My family told me -- and I agree -- that this was the best house we have ever shared for Thanksgiving. It was clean and well-maintained with beautiful views. We especially enjoyed our time around the firepit."

"Everything was clean and easy. Beds were comfortable! Great for our big family. The only small drawback to be aware of is the VERY steep driveway. It will add to your sense of adventure. Otherwise it was great! "

"Huge house! So much space. We had 10 ladies and 2 teens that stayed for the weekend of War Eagle and there was plenty of space to sit around and visit and the 3 bathrooms was wonderful. Loved the back deck. A storm blew through so we were without power for several hours so that was a bummer but we made do and made memories. My only complaint would be, is that the beds in the entrainment room were not great for adults but the teens didn’t mind. Plenty of towels and the other beds were great! "
