I guess enough time has passed to write a dispassionate review of our stay. It started out poorly as the front door lock wouldn't illuminate to type in the code. We were directed to back-up key and got in...only to find the place had not been cleaned from the previous renter. After several back and forths on the app talking to the "owner" I come to find out that the "owner" is really Nomadics, a Canadian company running this (and presumably) many properties for investors. That was a disheartening piece of reality I learned about VRBO. Some lower level Nomadics responders on the app tried to placate me by offering useless perks for our inconvenience. I kept pushing back. I finally got a call from the owner of Nomadics and he took what I will call 'extreme ownership' of our issue and made it right. From then on our stay was great.

We had a great time at this property. The pool was great and the accommodations were nice. We had an issue with the HVAC but the team was very helpful. Also the dishwasher was not well placed.

Not good.

This was definitely the worst VRBO we have ever been to. We stayed here for our son's graduation. When we showed up we had to call because the code wouldn't work and they couldn't get the door unlocked themselves. Luckily they had a spare key on the property we finally were able to use after about 30 mins of trying to access the house. The ac would never work until late late at night so it was miserably hot and humid in the house all day, the pool was filthy, we couldn't get the cleaner to work, they called their pool cleaner to come out and he showed up 4 hours late, one of the front windows was broken out, the house is older and smelled of mildew. You can tell no one was taking care of the property, stickers in the yard, the backyard was over grown, & just gross. We did enjoy that it was spacious with 4 bedrooms and the garage/ game room was pretty cool. That's the only positive about the place. For the prices we paid absolutely NOT worth it.

Don’t stay here.

Worst experience ever with VRBO. This property is in terrible condition. There is only one shower, and NO WATER. Accurate, the show did NOT work. In town for meeting and we had to go to work with NO shower. The other restroom has a bath tub, unacceptable. Took me until 4:40 to get into the house due to issues with codes etc from VRBO. Hotel would have been a better solution.

Great home. Just needs some real TLC

We loved the aesthetics of the home. It wanted to be a beautiful home with all the ability to be, but food and trash were left in the cupboards, and the home was dirty. It just needs an intense cleaning. However, Rosi, the woman who runs the house, was an absolute gem and attribute. She made the stay so much better. Also, our car broke down, and she and the team were so accommodating that they allowed us to stay past our time to check out so I could get a replacement vehicle. That was excellent customer service. Just clean the home well, and this place would be fantastic!

SHSU family graduation gathering zone

Over all we had a wonderful time at this property. It was large and the king beds in each room were awesome. Only having one shower was a huge inconvenience for us. The shower also was very hard for older guests to turn on. It was confusing to all. The video was helpful, but it was still difficult. There were not enough sheets or blankets to use the trundles and the pull out couch. There were not any extra blankets to use for bedding. Other kitchen items were lacking, butter knives, use of dishwasher. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for allowing us in your home.

Very beautiful and clean home. It’s very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool on the hot summer days. There is plenty of linens and towels. With 8 adults and 4 kids, the space was more than enough. Looking forward to visiting this home in the near future

The Sunset - so close to home.

We live only 20 minutes from this house, but were having repair issues in our home, and booked this house for a couple of days just before Thanksgiving. We had unexpected guests come to surprise us, but the host was more than accommodating with our additions. Everyone truly enjoyed this house and all the amenities. Something for everyone and the kitchen is well appointed! Lots of towels, and extra beds and bedding were available as well. Nicely done. The game room was hit for us all and the kids even got into the freezing pool. It truly felt like a nice vacation for us all, and we may very well rent this house again just to have a fun get away close to home. FYI: Master shower hot/cold is reversed. Another guest mentioned in their review they couldn't figure it out, so I hope that helps the next guest. Fantastic shower though, just like the rest of the house. Enjoy the swings - we did!

Back yard needed to be mowed, grass was pretty high. Pool was a little dirty, expecting it to be cleaned before we arrived. Could not get master shower to work which was a inconvenience for 7 people to have to bath in a tub. Small things but expected it to done for amount spent per night. Kids loved sitting in the swings at the kitchen table. Garage game room was fun to play in at night.
