Lovely Thanksgiving retreat

Plenty of space for all 14 of us! We loved the pool table and the outdoor lounging and dining space. Enjoyed kayaking. Made memories with our extended family that we’ll treasure!

Awesome getaway!

The home was everything we needed and more! It’s soooo spacious! We all loved that it was a single story and no one had to battle getting luggage upstairs. Each room has a tv in it and plenty of space to move around. Everyone enjoyed the usb ports next to each bed to plug their phones in at night. We spent 90% of our time on the patio. It’s equally as spacious as the rest of the house with a 10-person patio table as well as couches for lounging. There is a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. The laundry room is just off the kitchen and is HUGE and has a refrigerator in it for extra food/drink storage. We used it as a storage place for all our bags and crates that we brought our items in so they were out of the way during our stay. The only suggestion we had was to put a tv outside on the covered porch-we’re big college football fans and would have loved to have been able to see the games while we sat on the porch. Laura was wonderful and always super quick to respond if we had questions. 100% will come back to stay here again!

Fabulous weekend

Just sitting on the deck and looking at the view would have been enough. But the we had the great game room to watch tv and play games. And roomy kitchen to cook our food. We will be doing this again.

Great Stay!

We were able to enjoy our family all being in the same unit. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other. From very young to fairly old we all enjoyed it. The outside deck was awesome. If the weather hadn't been quite so hot, it would have been even better, but the owner can't control the weather.

Awesome house

We had a great time at the property. It was exactly as advertised and actually much bigger than we expected. The views from the back deck, and the boat dock were phenomenal. We had one small problem when we got there with a hot tub not working and being empty. I reached out to Laura and she immediately had the hot tub repair person. Come by fix the issue and had it working extremely quickly. I was incredibly impressed by her responsiveness and willingness to get that problem solved. The house is a great location as well with easy access to all the activities we wanted to do.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

Our family has been gathering for Thanksgiving week for over twenty year (in GA, NC, TN, Okl. TX, FL); Heatherwood was beautiful and had something for everyone. The home is set up perfectly for plenty of family tiime. Kitchen is wonderful with plenty of room for cooking for a large group. Outside space was excellent. We all loved our week there and look forward to returning again.

Beautiful Home

Heatherwood is absolutely beautiful. It was decorated for Christmas and was gorgeous. So much space and very clean.We had a chef come in to cook and he had everything he needed to do so in the kitchen. The large deck was amazing, we spent a lot of time sitting out and talking while gazing at the beautiful fall colors. Don't hesitate to book this gem.

Heatherwood is amazing!

Perfect for our group of 5 couples, above and beyond for paper products and coffee bar. The outdoor living area was perfect for dining and evening gatherings with an amazing water view. We also had plenty of indoor space and enjoyed the very well equipped kitchen. Two living areas with tv’s was a bonus for the SEC and Big10 football fans. Great feature was having a pontoon boat delivered to the dock by Great White Rentals. Thank you Laura for hosting us!

This property is beautiful with attention to nearly every detail. The description and photos are accurate and it was perfect for our family stay. Amazing House

We were a group of 12 (6 couples on our yearly trip), the house was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. The layout of the house was perfect and the outdoor area overlooking the water was amazing. There is a very nice deck to sit on down by the water and you can get right in the water from there. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away, the location is perfect. The house was clean, the neighborhood was also very nice. There is nothing I would change about the home and when I return to the area I will certainly try to rent the home again. Communication was also GREAT. I was informed about everything I needed to know in a timely manner. AWESOME is the word to describe.
