Hot summer days are no match for adventure tubing down the cool, clean, (mostly) lazy Alsea River. There are some dangerous stretches of rocky rapids or trees in the water that make this too tough for young kids or inexperienced people. Also great for kayaking, though water can get low in summer and you'll have to paddle in the main channel and possibly portage some sections. One day or multi-day options.

"This property exceeded our expectations! The home layout was perfect for us to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our grown college student/child. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the direct beach access. The kitchen was very well stocked and spacious, beds were large and comfortable, and the two spa quality bathrooms were a premium amenity. This is our 3rd VRBO on the Oregon Coast and by far our favorite. We will stay again. "
