"SpringHill Suites Savannah was conveniently located if your goal is to walk throughout the squares. Our room was clean and spacious. Really liked that the shower/vanity and toilet/small sink were separate. The buffet breakfast was clutch. Much nicer than the usual fare offered in other hotels with free breakfast.
Cons were $5 for a bottle of water. Complimentary water only for reward members. The concierge was delightful and knowledgeable, but seemed to be on the payroll of one of the tour operators. The tour was okay, but the buses were so crowded we were unable to board several after waiting for quite awhile. I would try the competitors tour.
Parking at hotel $40 a night. A perfectly fine, safe garage right behind the hotel at half the price.
One elevator was out of service our first two days. Several guests said it had been out of service for several days.
