The picture window stops you first. Twelve-foot ceilings overhead, rustic beams crossing the span, a stone fireplace with a wood beam mantel anchoring one wall — and then that window, floor-to-ceiling, filling the entire living room with a panoramic mountain view that catches the sunset every single evening like it was designed specifically for that purpose.

It was.

This 2,000-square-foot condo was conceived around the view, and everything else — three bedrooms, three levels, four private balconies, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer — was built to support the experience of being in front of that window, or on one of those balconies, watching the mountains do what mountains do when the light is right.

A Living Space That Earns the Square Footage - The main level flows the way open-concept living should — dining area with seating for six connecting naturally to the kitchen counter with four barstools, the fully equipped kitchen handling everything from serious cooking to a quick Keurig coffee before the morning gets started. The living room with its stone gas fireplace and grand picture window is where the trip begins and ends each day, and the covered balcony off the dining room extends the experience outside with plush seating and the same sweeping sunset views that make this property genuinely difficult to leave at checkout.

Three Bedrooms, Each With Its Own Outdoor Space - The entire upper level belongs to the primary suite — a new king bed, updated double-vanity bathroom, and a private balcony with seating for two and the full panoramic view. The lower level splits into a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, each with its own TV and its own private covered balcony with rocking chairs and a table. Four balconies across three levels means everyone in the group has their own outdoor retreat — their own chairs, their own view, their own version of the same mountain horizon — without negotiating for space or sharing a railing with anyone.

A washer and dryer on the lower level rounds out the practical side of a longer stay, because a property this comfortable tends to inspire extended visits.

Stunning views, comfortable beds, great walks

We enjoyed the Mountain View’s, the decks for every bedroom, the comfy decor and sublime beds for a good nights sleep. Plush towels and linens, we took advantage of the nice walk around all of the condos on this ridge.

We were really happy with our stay at VZ Top 303. The place is updated well, you can tell the owners felt that good mattresses and well appointed kitchen were important to them - we appreciate it too, and the views are as good as it gets. The proximity to town combined with the views gave us what we hoped for. Side note, the neighbors who live in the area could not have been more kind - us short term renters should strive to keep it that way. We recommend this property.
